Skate 3 Soundtrack

The skate 3 soundtrack as a playable radio station in skate.

23 tracks in their own in-game playlist, selectable from the music menu like any other station. Install it and the playlist is there.

Pairs with Skate 2 Soundtracks — the two replace different songs and claim different station slots, so you can run both.

Install

Install from the ReSkate launcher's MODS page, or drop the folder into Mods\ beside Skate.exe and restart.

Requires ReSkate.

Put this mod above your map mods in the load order. Map mods ship their own copy of the game's music, and a map mod loaded first will win.

Known limitations

Audio applies on the base map. Map mods each ship a full copy of the game's music library, and ReSkate's merge currently propagates EBX changes into those copies but not audio chunks — so on a custom map you will see the right track names but hear the original music. This needs a change in ReSkate itself.

The station may not advance on its own. When a track ends, playback can stop instead of rolling into the next one. Skip forward manually for now. Still being looked into — it may affect the game's own stations too, not just this mod.

Using it

ReSkate menu (Insert) -> music page -> pick Skate_3_Soundtrack.

If you cannot hear it, check that music volume is up and effects volume is not drowning it.

Tracklist

What it changes

23 songs from the base game are replaced: their names, their audio, and the playlist they belong to. Tracks are matched to songs of a similar length, so the replaced slots are spread across the library rather than taken from one genre.

Nothing outside the music system is touched.

All music is the work of the credited artists. This mod only carries it into the game's own music system; nothing here claims any rights to the recordings.
