Palais de Tokyo

Paris, 16th arrondissement. The esplanade of the Palais de Tokyo, the spot every Paris skater calls Le Dome, ported to ReSkate from the Skater XL map Le Dome by Goya. And under it, a secret.

What is in it

• The Palais de Tokyo: the colonnade, the big stairs down to the avenue, the esplanade, the courtyard park and the streets around it, with the Eiffel Tower across the Seine.
• Day and night: street lamps light the streets at night.
• The secret: somewhere on the esplanade a door stands ajar, a small ReSkate FR plaque above it. Behind it, stairs go down to a Paris metro station. Gap through the open doors of the car parked on the track, from one platform to the other.
• Les Dessous: below the station, a tunnel leads down to a concrete undercroft in the spirit of Southbank: a bowl, a granite plaza with a three-stair (Republique), a deck with a four-stair (MACBA), a seven-stair with banks and blocks (Les Banks), a steep bank (Bercy), a wooden mini ramp and a tribune, all laid out in lines.
• The Grand Collecteur: a brick sewer with a U channel, walkways and rails.
• L'Entrepot: a warehouse park with stairs, hubbas, ledges, a kicker and a three metre stage with its quarter.

Settings

Turn Global Illumination off in the game's graphics settings. With it on, the game draws only some of the underground lights and the secret spots go dark.

Known issues

• With Global Illumination on, the underground is too dark (see Settings).
• The loading screen shows the default picture.

Install

Install it from the ReSkate launcher's mod browser, or unzip this package into its own folder under Mods next to ReSkateLauncher.exe. In game, open the pause menu, then Custom Stuff, then Custom Maps, and pick Palais de Tokyo.
