Custom HUD

A highly customizable trick multiplier HUD for skate., styled after Skate 3's. Every part can be recoloured, restyled, moved or turned off.

Features

• Skate 3 style badge: the x1 to x4 multiplier (or up to x99) and a line timer ring. The badge can be round or square.
• Any colour: every part in any RGB colour with opacity, including a separate colour for each landing (Perfect, Clean, Sketchy...).
• Your own fonts: separate fonts for trick names, score and number, from a font file or the fonts on your PC.
• Background pictures: put your own PNG or JPG inside, behind or on top of the badge.
• Falls and slams: a failed line is crossed out in red. Slam names, moves and missed tricks each have their own switch.
• Themes: 21 starter themes, plus up to 31 of your own saved under names you choose.
• HUD Studio: an in-game editor with a live preview, made for mouse or controller (Xbox or PlayStation button icons).
• Hides skate.'s own HUD so the two never overlap.

Install

1. Install with your mod manager, or copy the CustomHUD folder into Mods\.
2. Approve the plugin when ReSkate asks.
3. Turn off any other scoring HUD mods.

Needs ReSkate 2.1.2 or newer (2.1.3 recommended). It ships no game data, so skate. updates don't break it.

Open HUD Studio

• Keyboard: Ctrl + Z
• Controller: R3 + LB (R3 + L1 on PlayStation)
• From ReSkate's menu: PLUGINS > Custom HUD

You can change the keys on ReSkate's Binds page.

Fonts

1. Drop a .ttf or .otf file into this mod's fonts folder.
2. In HUD Studio > Fonts, press Look for new fonts, then Open the colour picker.
3. On that page (Chrome or Edge), press Add it to the game.

Trick packs

Any mod can rename tricks on this HUD with a trick-names folder of JSON files:

To use your own names, go to HUD Studio > Text > My own trick names file.
