OLAY ALLEYWAY

OLAY ALLEYWAY, brought to ReSkate from the original Skater XL map by olay.

What's Changed

• Scaled the map up by 1.25× to better fit ReSkate.
• Upscaled selected textures and corrected material, transparency, and texture-mapping issues.
• Fixed overlapping geometry and adjusted ground decals to reduce flickering.
• Added manual grind splines to metal rails, concrete benches, and the tops of the wooden stair ledges.
• Assigned surface-specific collision and grind sounds throughout the map.
• Added smooth, invisible collision surfaces over the pallets so they work properly as kickers.
• Kept tree trunks solid while removing collision from branches, leaves, bushes, and grass.
• Optimized the map by removing unused texture data and sharing repeated meshes, without reducing texture resolution or visible detail. It’s still a pretty big map!

Install

Unzip the package and place the olay_alleyway folder inside your Skate installation’s Mods folder. Restart ReSkate, then select OLAY ALLEYWAY from the custom map menu.
