City Trial (Kirby Air Ride)

Skate the whole City Trial island from Kirby Air Ride (GameCube) in skate.: the city streets and rooftops, the volcano, Castle Hall, the forest and golf course, the lighthouse, the rails, and the ocean around it.

How to use

1. Install this mod.
2. Launch skate. through ReSkate.
3. Pick City Trial (Kirby Air Ride) from the ReSkate map list.

Notes

• Scaled so the city streets are about 13 m wide and the island is about 530 m across.
• The ocean and river are real water: you float, like the game's other water.
• Floating decorations (boost rings, stars, arrows, signs) have no collision, so you pass through them.
• Known issues: the boost pads and jump panels are decoration only for now (no speed boost or launch), the underground tunnels are dark, and the Star material shows white.
• Mods are tied to the supported game build. If skate. updates, this mod may need a rebuild.
• If the map doesn't show up, check skate./logs/ReSkate.log for the reason it was left out.

Install

Thunderstore / mod manager

Install City Trial Map with your Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, then launch the game through ReSkate.

Manual

1. Close the game.
2. Extract this archive to skate./Mods/City_Trial_Map/ so layout.toc and Win32 sit directly in that folder.
3. Start the game with ReSkateLauncher.exe.
