README
A skill progression mod. Every few levels you earn a skill point and spend it to level up one of your skills.
Inspired by SkillsPlusPlus for Risk of Rain 2.
A skill level doesn't just add damage. It changes how the skill works: more projectiles, bigger blasts, longer stuns, extra charges, drones, bombs and bounces. Every skill of all 16 survivors has its own upgrades, alternatives and Ancient Scepter versions included. Skills of modded survivors get a generic bonus.
How to use
You get a skill point every 5 team levels. The interval can be changed in the mod options.
Hold Alt (L3 on a gamepad) and press the skill key to level it up.
Or hold Tab and click the skill icon. Right-click within 3 seconds to undo the last purchase.
The skill level is shown above its icon. What each level gives is written at the bottom of the skill description.
Die while an ally lives and you become a drone: every point you spent levels up its attack. Your skill levels come back with you.
Go to Game settings > Mods tab to change the point interval or the upgrade key.

For modders
Survivor mods can give their skills Skills++ upgrades of their own: a table of numbers, effects of their own with the skill level, or "cannot be leveled". See For modders on the wiki.
