Player Home
Ever wished you could drop anchor and actually live somewhere? Player Home lets you buy a tavern in port and make it yours.
Features
- Claim a tavern as your home. Walk into almost any tavern and a "Buy Tavern" option appears with the deed price for that port. Once it's yours: the barkeep's shop, the crowd, and the clutter are cleared out — but you keep free rest until morning, forever.
- Your stuff stays put. Items you leave inside your home are remembered and restored when you return — just like cargo on your boat. Uses the game's own item serialization and never touches the game's save file.
- Fair local pricing. Deeds are priced per town, from a 30g desert room in Al'Nilem to a 150g Aestrin house with a balcony. See the included
Tavern_Pricing_Chart.html(also below). - 17 claimable taverns. Gold Rock City and New Port are excluded (their decor is baked into a shared city mesh that can't be cleanly removed).
Deed prices
| Region | Cheapest | Priciest |
|---|---|---|
| Al'Ankh | Al'Nilem, Neverdin, Oasis — 30g | Old Ankh Town — 120g |
| Aestrin | Eastwind — 40g | Mount Malefic, Happy Bay, Firefly Grotto — 150g |
| Emerald Isles | Dragon Cliffs — 50g | Crab Beach, Sage Hills — 80g |

Configuration
All settings in BepInEx/config (or in-game via ConfigurationManager):
EnableTavernClaim— the main mode; turn off to disable buying tavernsPersistTavernItems— item persistence inside your homeClearRadius/FurnishRadius— how far a claim clears, and how far "your home" reaches for item persistence (furnish an adjacent porch or deck)PriceOverrides/ClearRadiusOverrides/ExcludedTaverns— per-tavern tweaks by id (ids are shown in the[claim]log line and stay stable across sessions)
Experimental: place your own home
homes.txt lets you spawn a home building anywhere: press F8 in-game where you want it — a ready-to-paste line is written to the log — then add it to homes.txt. Prefab names come from the DumpPrefabs option. One home per line; see the comments in the generated example file.
Notes
- Saves its own data alongside the game's saves; the game's save file is never modified.
- Diagnostics (
TraceSleep, mesh probe key) are included for troubleshooting — leave them off in normal play.
