This mod requires the following mods to function
LavaGang-MelonLoader
The World's First Universal Mod Loader for Unity Games compatible with both Il2Cpp and Mono
Preferred version: 0.7.3ifBars-S1API_Forked
S1API is an open source collaboration project to help standardize Schedule One modding processes. The goal is to provide a standard place for common functionalities so you can focus on making content versus reverse engineering the game.
Preferred version: 3.2.1DooDesch-Sideload
Write a mod interface as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Sideload renders the web bundle into real Unity UI and puts it on the in game phone, so an app is three files instead of a thousand lines of panel code.
Preferred version: 1.31.1README
Hyland Helper 0.2.0
Hyland Helper adds a read-only companion app to the in-game phone in Schedule I 0.4.6f11 (IL2CPP). The preferred Sideload UI lets you browse recipes from the current save, see supported mixes discovered live before the next manual save, inspect ingredient chains and economics, keep recipes locally, and optionally pair the Hyland Helper mobile app through Live Sync.
Requirements
- MelonLoader 0.7.3
- S1API 3.1.4 (the
ifBarsfork) - Sideload 1.3.0 (required for the preferred UI; the mod retains an S1API fallback)
Thunderstore installs those declared dependencies. Hyland Helper's runtime payload contains only HylandHelper.BridgeMod.dll, HylandHelper.PhoneTile.dll, and hylandhelper_icon.png; the package-root icon.png is Thunderstore listing art, and third-party frameworks are not bundled.
For a manual install, close Schedule I and preserve each dependency archive's folder layout:
- Install MelonLoader 0.7.3 for the Schedule I executable.
- Extract S1API 3.1.4 into the Schedule I game directory so
S1API.Il2Cpp.MelonLoader.dllis underModsandS1APILoader.MelonLoader.dllis underPlugins. - Extract Sideload 1.3.0 into the game directory so
Sideload.dllis underModsand itsAngleSharp.dll,Jint.dll, andEsprima.dlldependencies are underUserLibs. - Copy exactly
HylandHelper.BridgeMod.dll,HylandHelper.PhoneTile.dll, andhylandhelper_icon.pngintoSchedule I\Mods, replacing all older Hyland Helper files together. Do not copy the package-rooticon.png; it is Thunderstore listing art. - Start the game and open Hyland Helper from the in-game phone.
Both Hyland Helper DLLs must come from the same release. Do not place S1API, Sideload, or their support libraries in the Hyland Helper package.
Preferred UI and fallback
Sideload 1.3.0 supplies the preferred embedded phone UI. Host selection is restart-scoped: when Sideload is missing, too old, or incomplete at startup, Hyland Helper selects its existing S1API fallback for that process. If Sideload was selected and later fails to mount, fix, remove, or disable Sideload and restart Schedule I to use the S1API fallback; Hyland Helper does not register a second phone app during the same session.
Optional network features and privacy
The current-save library and live discovered-mix capture work locally. Community Recipes and recipe economics use https://hyland-helper-backend.vercel.app. Optional mobile Live Sync, Phone Recipes, and Advisor Dispatches also use that service only when their corresponding actions or pairing are enabled.
When paired, the bridge may send bounded read-only snapshots for the active save, including opaque save and profile scope identifiers, game/mod versions, rank and in-game time, money, product/mix data, inventory, and property/layout summaries. The local bridge token is revocable and protected with Windows CurrentUser DPAPI. Hyland Helper does not send Steam credentials and never writes Schedule I save or gameplay state.

CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.4.0
- Updated for the Schedule I 0.4.7 Special Customers update. Property layouts didn't change, so layout apply and app layout import work on 0.4.7 saves.
- New: QR pairing. The pairing screen shows a QR code above the pairing code. Scan it with your phone camera, or with Scan QR in the Hyland Helper app once its update is out. Typing the code still works.
- Fixed: applying a layout to the Motel Room, Sweatshop or Sewer Office was refused because of the wall clock.
- Fixed: layouts deleted in the app no longer get stuck on "Loading this layout".
- Fixed: layout sync could stay disconnected after restarting the game, even though the app showed the PC as paired.
- If a layout apply was interrupted and can't safely continue, it no longer blocks the property. The Layouts screen shows what happened and lets you dismiss it. Dismissing doesn't refund or remove anything.
- Layout apply only runs on game versions this mod has been checked on. On a newer game version it asks you to update the mod.
- The pairing code is no longer written to the game log.
- Requires S1API 3.2.1.
0.3.1
- Fixed applying a layout created in the Hyland Helper app or on hylandhelper.com to an owned property. Such layouts carry the app's property name, so the mod incorrectly reported the target property as one you don't own and the apply could not start. The mod now resolves app property names to the in-game property, so app- and website-authored layouts apply correctly. Layouts captured in-game were unaffected.
0.3.0
- Updated for Schedule I 0.4.6f13. The bundled layout reference was pinned to 0.4.6f11, so on the current game version the mobile app reported "Layout data update required" and property layout import was unavailable. Layout data was re-captured on 0.4.6f13 (the property grid geometry is unchanged from 0.4.6f11), so layout import is available again on the current game version.
- In-game Layouts screen in the phone tile: browse captured property layouts and use Save Layout to capture your current build's live state.
- Personal layout library syncs through the backend, with load-time reconciliation of interrupted layout jobs and auto-refund of orphaned recovery jobs.
- More reliable save reading and layout capture, including structural objects read from real saves.
0.2.1
- Property layouts now import into the mobile app's Layout Studio correctly.
- More reliable save reading on Schedule I 0.4.6f11.
- Fixed a false "Backpack unavailable" notice on saves with no backpack.
- Phone tile: the "Unlinking" message clears after you unlink, and the current session tile turns gold when connected.
0.2.0
This is the first public package after the old Nexus v0.1.2 release. It includes the previously prepared v0.1.3-era synchronization and reliability work as well as the new Sideload phone experience.
- Adds a scroll-safe embedded Sideload 1.3.0 UI with responsive recipe catalogs, filters, details, pairing, and phone controls.
- Reads recipes from the active Schedule I 0.4.6f11 save and merges supported mixes discovered live before the next manual save.
- Keeps optional mobile Live Sync, Phone Recipes, Advisor Dispatches, manual sync, unlink, Community Recipes, and on-demand economics available from the modern UI.
- Retains the restart-scoped S1API fallback through required S1API 3.1.4 when Sideload is missing, old, or incomplete at startup.
- Carries forward faster bounded adaptive sync, foreground Phone Recipe refresh, supported live rank/day/property/money capture, improved Advisor Dispatch accuracy, and committed-layout change signals.
- Reduces idle parsing, scanning, and redundant work while improving pending command and delivery-result recovery.
- Preserves v0.1.2 playthrough isolation, save-generation validation, and pairing recovery protections.
The package requires MelonLoader 0.7.3 and contains only HylandHelper.BridgeMod.dll, HylandHelper.PhoneTile.dll, the runtime icon, and release metadata. Third-party dependencies are declared rather than bundled.
