What It Does:
Beacon lets you point at things. Point at a person, a customer or a pet instead and the marker rides above their head and follows them about, so you can flag the impostor without typing a word.
Features:
- Your colour: the marker carries your shirt colour, so everyone can tell whose ping it is
- Ping people: markers on a coworker, a customer or a pet follow them
How to Install:
- Use any compatible mod manager for the easiest installation.
OR
- Make sure you have BepInEx 6 IL2CPP installed.
- Download this mod and put it in your BepInEx plugins folder. (
\GAME_LOCATION\Shift At Midnight\BepInEx\plugins)
Everyone needs this mod. Unlike a mod that only changes what you see, this one changes what everyone sees, so anybody without it installed sees nothing at all. Your ping is shared through the lobby, and a player without the mod has nothing listening for it.
Nobody needs to be the host, and it works fine on your own.
How to Use:
Look at something and press the middle mouse button.
Point at somebody instead and there is no ring. The arrow rides over their head and goes where they go.
Configuration:
The only setting is which key drops a marker, and you only need it if middle mouse is taken on your setup.
