AutoScoreBan
AutoScoreBan is a vanilla-friendly BepInEx mod for STRAFTAT that automatically protects your hosted lobbies from low-score or under-experienced opponents.
When you host a lobby, incoming players have their score automatically queried from the official Steam Leaderboard. If their score is below your configured threshold, they are automatically banned from the lobby and disconnected from the server.
Features
- Host-Only Protection: Only enforces rules when you are the lobby host. The mod stays completely passive when you join someone else's lobby as a client.
- Configurable Score Threshold: Set any required score threshold ($N$) via config or in-game mod menus (e.g., ModMenu).
- Steam Friends Protection: Never bans your Steam friends, regardless of their score.
- Unranked Filter: Configurable option to treat unranked players (0 leaderboard score) as score 0 and ban them if required.
- Custom Ban Reason: Disconnected players receive your personalized message (default:
"I'm doing this for your own good"). - In-Game Notifications: Clean notifications in the in-game pause/chat match log whenever a player is banned.
- Vanilla Matchmaking Friendly: Includes
[assembly: StraftatMod(true)]attribute, ensuring you are not placed into an isolated matchmaking pool. - LobbyRank Compatible: Operates smoothly alongside mods like
LobbyRank.
Configuration
The configuration file is automatically created at:
BepInEx/config/com.balu.straftat.autoscoreban.cfg
You can edit it with any text editor, or in-game using configuration managers (like ModMenu).

Installation
With Mod Manager (Recommended)
- Install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
- Click Install with Mod Manager on this page.
Manual Installation
