QuickWheel
A radial quick-chat wheel for STRAFTAT. Send a message to the lobby without taking your fingers off WASD.
How to use
- Hold your wheel key (default: Mouse3, the back side button).
- Flick the mouse toward a phrase. It lights up once you pass the inner circle.
- Left click to send it. Right click (or letting go with nothing highlighted) cancels.
While the wheel is open:
- You keep moving, jumping, sliding and wall running as normal.
- Your aim is frozen, so the flick only picks a phrase.
- Your gun won't fire, including from the click that sends the message.
Setting it up
Change settings in-game with Mod Menu (recommended), or in your mod manager's config editor (Gale, r2modman, etc.).
Tip: with Mod Menu, turn on Show Wheel While Editing at the top of QuickWheel's page. A faint copy of the wheel stays on screen while that page is open, and it updates as you change phrases and settings. It disappears as soon as you leave the page.

If the key you pick is also bound to something in the game, the preview shows a warning in orange.
Good to know
- Messages go to normal lobby chat, so everyone in the lobby sees them, including the other team. STRAFTAT has no team chat.
- Other players don't need the mod. They just see a regular chat message.
- The wheel won't open while you're paused or typing in chat.
- It doesn't patch any game code, so it should get along with other mods.
