README

SBG Arsenal

Six new items for Super Battle Golf, built for messing with your friends. They drop out of item boxes alongside the base-game items, and the host gets a probability slider for each one in the Match Setup rules screen.

Every player in the lobby needs this mod, including the host. The items are added client side, so a player without it will not see them, will not know what hit them, and will desync when one is used.

The items

Suicide Vest

Strap in and take the neighbourhood with you. Using it straps a vest to your chest — charges, straps and a warning light that everyone in the lobby can see — arms a 3 second fuse with a beeping countdown and a pulse that speeds up as it runs out, then explodes in an 11 metre radius. The wearer is included in the blast, so it is scored as a self-knockout.

Arming also grants the coffee speed boost for the length of the fuse, so you can actually reach someone before it goes off. The dead-man switch is on by default: if someone knocks you out while the vest is armed, it goes off anyway. Set FuseSeconds to 0 and the vest only ever detonates on the dead-man switch, so you become a walking trap. One use per pickup.

Gravity Club

Overhead slam with a 0.55 second wind-up on the game's own golf-swing animation, then everything within 7 metres in front of you — golfers, balls, carts — is thrown up and outwards. Two slams per pickup.

Slice Driver

Lunges you forward at 26 m/s for just under half a second, with a 2.2 metre reach around you for the whole dash. Anyone it catches is launched; each victim can only be hit once per lunge. Aim it with the camera, not your feet: the lunge follows where you are looking. Four lunges per pickup.

Eagle Eye

Hitscan rifle with a 400 metre reach and a one-shot knockout. Hold aim to shoulder it and the scope takes over in first person; the scroll wheel winds the magnification between 38 and 4 degrees of field of view, 4 degrees per notch. Two rounds per pickup with a 1.6 second re-chamber between them.

Shadow Clone

Spawns a silent double that mirrors your pose and animation 2.5 metres to your right for 15 seconds. It is a decoy and nothing else: it cannot be hit, cannot hit anyone, and does not touch balls. Worth it for the double takes alone. One clone per pickup.

Mulligan

Aim at another golfer and trade ball positions with them, up to 250 metres away. Strokes stay with their owner, so you keep your own scorecard and their ball ends up in your mess. The target is whoever is nearest your crosshair; if nobody is in front of you the use is given back instead of wasted. One swap per pickup.

Install

Use a mod manager (Gale, r2modman or the Thunderstore app), pick Super Battle Golf, and install this mod — BepInEx comes along as a dependency. Everyone you play with has to do the same.

Manual install: install BepInEx 5, launch the game once so it unpacks itself, then drop SBGArsenal.dll into BepInEx/plugins/.

Match Setup sliders

Each item gets its own row in the host's Match Setup → rules item probability list, next to the base-game items, and — like them — a separate value per item-pool tab. Drag a slider to zero to keep that item out of the match without anyone touching their config. Only the host's sliders count; a client's sliders follow whatever the host sets.

Settings

Everything else lives in BepInEx/config/SBGArsenal.cfg, written on the first launch. Each item has its own section with, at minimum, Enabled and SpawnWeight, plus the knobs for how it behaves:

Section Settings (defaults)
Suicide Vest SpawnWeight 4, FuseSeconds 3, DeadMansSwitch true, Radius 11, LaunchSpeed 30, SpeedBoostOnArm true, SpeedBoostDuration 0, FuseScale 1
Gravity Club SpawnWeight 5, MaxUses 2, Radius 7, WindUp 0.55, LaunchSpeed 32, UpwardSpeed 14
Slice Driver SpawnWeight 5, MaxUses 4, DashSpeed 26, DashPitchDegrees 12, DashDuration 0.45, BladeRadius 2.2, LaunchSpeed 26
Eagle Eye SpawnWeight 4, MaxUses 2, Range 400, ChamberTime 1.6, KnockbackSpeed 34, MinFov 4, MaxFov 38, ZoomStep 4, ZoomInTime 0.1, RememberZoom true, ScopedOnly true, HipFireInaccuracy 7, ScopeSensitivity 1
Shadow Clone SpawnWeight 5, MaxUses 1, Duration 15, SideOffset 2.5
Mulligan SpawnWeight 4, MaxUses 1, MaxTargetRange 250, CooldownSeconds 20

SpawnWeight is the starting value of that item's Match Setup slider, in the same units the slider uses: 0 to 100, in steps of 2.5. It is a weight, not a percentage — an item's real odds are its weight divided by the total weight of the pool it is in.

Edits are picked up while the game is running — including spawn weights, which are re-applied to the live item pools and sliders when you are the host. The one exception is Enabled: adding or removing an item changes the Match Setup list itself, so turning one on or off needs a restart. The log says so when you try.

Compatibility

The items use ItemType and EquipmentType ids 160-165. That keeps clear of the base game (ItemType 0-18, EquipmentType 0-23) and of the ids other published mods have already claimed — SBGGrenade (99-100) and IssaMod (100-145) — so running alongside those is fine.
