This mod requires the following mods to function
BepInEx-BepInExPack
BepInEx pack for Mono Unity games. Preconfigured and ready to use.
Preferred version: 5.4.2305README
Quartz Extractors
Made for mining quartz in the caves and biomes where you'd normally collect it by hand.
Place a T2 or T3 ore extractor near a natural quartz deposit:
- T2 collects quartz mixed with its usual materials.
- T3 lets you choose the local quartz from its normal ore-selection menu.
Supports Pulsar, Blazar, Magnetar, Solar, Quasar and Cosmic Quartz where they naturally occur. Stay close to the original quartz spots; large caves can contain separate deposit areas. Collecting the loose quartz won't stop your extractors working.
T1 extractors, sulfur fields, mining speeds, power use and storage capacity keep their usual behavior.
Installation
Install with r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager, then launch the game modded. Requires BepInExPack 5.4.2305 or later.
For a local install, use Import local mod and select QuartzExtractors-1.0.0.zip from the GitHub release.
For manual installation, put QuartzExtractors.dll in BepInEx/plugins/QuartzExtractors/.
Co-op
Install the same version on the host and all players so mining output and ore-selection menus agree.
Settings
Launch once to create BepInEx/config/noxie.planetcrafter.quartzextractors.cfg.
Set Enabled to false to turn the mod off. Edit with the game closed, then restart.
Compatibility and bugs
Randomized mineables aren't supported. Dropped quartz and meteor drops don't create mining spots. If you uninstall, select a normal ore on any T3 previously set to quartz.
