Palette Details

MorePalette adds hundreds of new colors to the Unit Creator. Since not every palette serves the same purpose, this page explains what each category is designed for.

Any question can be asked in TMC Server.

Codename

Some palettes subsections or categories contain a few code symbol that means these:

  • V for Value
  • A for Alpha
  • M for Metallic
  • E for Emission
  • G for Glossiness
  • S for Saturation (or Smoothness depending if there's M in the same context for it)
  • OPQ for Opaque
  • TSP for Transparent
  • TM for Team Material
  • SL for Skinlike
  • MP for More Palette, the name of the mod for identifier

Opaque Palettes

These palettes use fully opaque materials and are ideal for armor, weapons, props, buildings, and anything that shouldn't be transparent.

OPQ Bright

A collection of vivid rainbow colors with multiple combinations of:

  • Metallic level
  • Surface smoothness
  • Emission intensity

OPQ Dark

Similar to Bright Opaque, but focused on darker colors with multiple brightness levels.

OPQ Unique

Contains less common color styles that don't fit into the standard rainbow palettes.

Includes:

  • Pastel colors
  • Greyscale colors
  • Multiple metallic and gloss combinations

Transparent Palettes

These palettes use transparent materials with multiple opacity levels.

TSP Normal

Standard rainbow colors with different brightness and transparency levels.

TSP Pastel

Soft pastel colors with transparency.

Great for magical or whimsical creations.

TSP Mono

Transparent black-to-white colors.

Useful for smoke, fog, shadows, glass, and monochrome effects.

Team Palettes

Unlike normal palettes, Team palettes automatically provide separate Red Team and Blue Team versions.

This allows the same unit to display different colors depending on its assigned team.

TM Normal

Standard saturated team colors.

A good all-purpose choice.

TM Classic

Inspired by the classic TABS color style.

Slightly softer and more natural than Team Normal.

TM Shades

High-saturation colors covering a wide brightness range.

Useful when you want stronger contrast between darker and lighter team colors.

TM Pastel

Soft, less saturated team colors.

Perfect for fantasy, cute, or stylized factions.

TM Mono

Monochrome team colors.

Ideal for statues, stone units, ghosts, or minimalistic designs.

TM Neon

Bright emissive colors that glow.

TM Dark SL

A specialized palette that replaces the previous "Complementary" palette.

Instead of following traditional color theory, this palette uses carefully selected warm and cool color ranges inspired by natural skin and fabric tones.

Red Team transitions from deep reddish-browns to normal warm reds, while Blue Team transitions from muted navy tones to normal desaturated blues.

TM Bright SL

A specialized palette that replaces the previous "Analogous" palette.

Instead of following traditional color theory, this palette uses carefully selected warm and cool color ranges inspired by natural skin and fabric tones.

Red Team transitions from normal warm reds to light warm reds, while Blue Team transitions from normal desaturated blues to soft desaturated blues.
