Important Notices!

  • For this plugin/mod to work, you'll need to ensure your BepInEx is configured to have HideManagerGameObject set to true, or else the game will destroy the plugin!
  • This mod adds a cheat to the game which allows these features. You must enable the cheat to use them! If the Cheats Enabled status annoys you, NyxLib contains an option for it to register a separate cheat which allows you to hide it!

About

V1Entity is a mod that adds a cheat 'V1Entity' which by default buffs your arms and lets you use both left and right arms (even with weapons, although it's mainly designed for weaponless), gives you much less arm stamina, can disable arm cooldowns, and also buffs groundslamming. This mod is not meant to be balanced. The original name was V1Prime, but it was renamed to V1Entity as an inside reference to my game as it by chance began to become a blend between mine and ULTRAKILL.

Anyway, again, this will make you OP by default (although you could also, I guess, adjust it to make it really bad). It was balanced based exclusively only my gameplay, but I know this game really well. So me saying the defaults are OP does not necessarily mean it'll be easy for everyone. And as a little soft reminder/recommendation, this mod adds some new mechanics, if you care to, you may find benefits in experimenting a little bit yourself to see what there is!

Configuration

Configuration is handled using Bepinex's configuration classes, meaning you'll need to use a plugin which supports that, OR manually edit config files. Manual config file editing is assisted by the mod automatically reloading the config file when it's refocused.

Arm Buffs

Feedbacker and Knuckleblaster

  • Adds the ability to disable arm cooldown for both of these entirely, even allowing your to trigger them again during hitstop. By default only the feedbacker has this enabled

Feedbacker

  • Adds the ability for parried projectiles to increase in damage the more times they're parried, effectively combo parries.
  • Adds the ability to regain amounts of arm stamina when parrying projectiles, or melee parries, stamina regain set separately
  • Adds comboing punches into an enemy directly in rapid succession building damage.

Knuckleblaster

  • Adds the ability to fire shotgun pellets
  • Adds the ability to buff (or nerf) blastwave. Default is slightly buffed.
  • Double knuckleblaster shockwaves (both arms at once) allows one to boost themselves backwards.

Whiplash

  • Adds Whipdashes, if you dash and begin a whiplash pull simultaneously, the rate at which you move towards your target will be multiplied by a given amount temporarily (the duration of this, and the multiplier - is configurable, default is 3x faster)

Ground Slamming

  • Adds damaging shockwaves for ground slams. By default, this requires a certain amount of air time for it to work, preventing spamming from being as effective as actually timing.

CHANGELOG

VERSION 0.2.1

  • Remove debug print that occurred when pressing N on your keyboard, causing a HUGE lag spike until it finished (sorry!!!!)

VERSION 0.2.0

  • Add dual wield powerup support
  • Add FeedbackerPunchOnSwapIfBlasting (on by default), allowing arm swap users to do knuckleblaster p-boosts
  • Try to improve whiplash side picking
  • Try to improve held item handling
  • Knuckleblaster muzzle flash follows knuckleblaster now
  • Add ParryPlayerProjectileArmStaminaGain, separate from ParryProjectileArmStaminaGain
  • ULTRAPunch now uses the default Punch key as the hold input, meaning you can ULTRAPunch and knuckleblaster blast by using your punch key.
  • Fix ground slam damage shock wave airtime from resolving incorrectly, making spamming easier than it was meant to be.
  • Adjust ground slam shock wave scaling to be more in line with non damaging shockwave size and speed
  • Add max airtime for ground slam shock wave, to reward players for waiting even longer before slamming

VERSION 0.1.0

This release adds some things I wanted to add before releasing, but didn't, because I wanted to get the mod released on the day I released it. Mostly minor additions/changes, however, I think they're worth quite a bit of value.

  • Doing two knuckleblaster blastwaves at once allows one to boost themselves backwards. This can be used for gaining height, maintaining height, or speed. Single knuckleblaster blasts do not do this.
  • Whipdash cancelling now reduces momentum by a configurable amount. Defaults should result in cancelled whipdashes still providing 100 u/s so still extremely high speeds.
  • Whipdashes now cost a (configurable) amount of extra stamina compared to a normal dash. Default makes whipdashing equivalent to a dash jump.
  • Arm Stamina could always be overcharged, that is, charged past max capacity. However, this was previously unindicated. Now, overcharged arm stamina will cause the meter to become increasingly white, becoming solid white at a certain threshold. Arm Stamina remains infinitely overchargable.
  • Arm Stamina overcharge now decays over time. This means you cannot store overcharge arm stamina forever. However, there is no hard limit to arm stamina, like previously mentioned. So as long as you can maintain it, you can keep overcharging it.
  • Knuckleblaster now has the ability to have its (visual) animation speed up depending on how rapidly you press the button during hitstop frames, just like the feedbacker. This is able to be disabled, but may result in knuckleblaster punch spamming looking better in some cases.
  • Add toggles for style bonuses

VERSION 0.0.0

Initial Release. Yay.
