1.0.0

First public release, under the name DeathResistance.

  • A qualifying death grants a stack: 10% less eligible damage taken for one hour. Repeated deaths add another 10% and refresh the timer, up to 100% eligible-damage immunity.
  • Duration is measured in real time, so offline time counts toward expiry.
  • Protection covers damage from sources no more than three levels above the player. PvP and sunlight are excluded by default.
  • Twelve admin settings cover reduction per stack, level allowance, stack cap, duration, sun and PvP damage/grant rules, V Blood-only grants, default participation and diagnostic logging. .dr set validates, saves and applies each one without a server restart.
  • Player commands: .dr status (participation, current reduction, stacks, time left), .dr settings (read-only configuration summary), .dr on, .dr off. Admin commands: .dr config, .dr set <setting> <value>.
  • Explicit on/off preferences persist across reconnects and server restarts; changing the default does not override them.
  • Each qualifying death sends the player one chat line with their new total reduction and stack count.
  • Dracula chamber releases award a stack using the source that caused the downing; ordinary downings and revivals do not count as completed deaths.
  • The built-in kill command does not grant stacks or refresh resistance.
  • State is saved to <world save>/DeathResistance/players.json with an atomic-write backup.
  • Server only. No client mod and no client-side dependencies.
