SpearFishing
Catch fish with spears, harpoons, bows and crossbows.
A modern, network-safe remake of the classic spearfishing idea: hit a swimming fish with a projectile and either loot the floating catch or (with the Abyssal Harpoon) pull it straight into your inventory.
Speared fish stay as the same object turned into a floating corpse (Fish AI removed). They are not respawned as a new living fish.
Features
- Works with spears, Abyssal Harpoon, bows and crossbows
- Detects weapons by skill type (survives game updates better than name matching)
- Multiplayer-safe: destroys the living fish for everyone, then spawns a normal floating item drop
- Harpoon auto-pickup when you have inventory space
- Config to toggle each weapon type, auto-pickup, Fishing XP, messages and VFX
Do not run this together with Korppis Spearfishing — disable/remove the old mod first.
