CombatUIFade
Fades the HUD out after a few seconds and brings it back when you get hit. Stays up in menus, the map and while building. Can hide the crosshair dot too. Made for UnstableSparkey.

README
Made for UnstableSparkey, who wanted the UI to fade out in combat and in general for a more immersive experience.
What it does
The HUD stays up for a few seconds, then fades away. Get hit and it pops right back so you can check your health, then fades again once things calm down.
It won't fade while you're:
- in the inventory, the big map or the menu
- on a loading screen
- holding a build tool (hammer, hoe, cultivator etc.), if you want
The crosshair dot can be hidden entirely. The bow draw circle is left alone, and crossbows still get the dot since they have no circle to aim with.
Config
Everything's in Azumatt.CombatUIFade.cfg and reloads live when you save the file.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| SafeDelay | 5 | Seconds the HUD stays up before it starts fading |
| FadeDuration | 3 | Seconds the fade takes |
| HideCrosshair | On | Hides the crosshair dot. Bow draw circle is never touched |
| NoFadeWhileBuilding | On | Keeps the HUD up while a build tool is out |
| ShowCrosshairWithCrossbow | On | Shows the dot with a crossbow even if HideCrosshair is on |
