This mod requires the following mods to function
denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim
BepInEx pack for Valheim. Preconfigured with the correct entry point for mods and preferred defaults for the community.
Preferred version: 5.4.2350ValheimModding-Jotunn
Jötunn (/ˈjɔːtʊn/, 'giant'), the Valheim Library was created with the goal of making the lives of mod developers easier. It enables you to create mods for Valheim using an abstracted API so you can focus on the actual content creation.
Preferred version: 2.30.2README
Rift Relics
A subset of Rift Magic: just its Rift Sorting Chest and Rift Aegis trinket, for anyone who wants them without the staffs, companions and everything else. Same code as in Rift Magic, packaged on its own and client-side.
Already playing Rift Magic? You don't need this: Rift Magic has both, and Rift Relics stands down when it finds Rift Magic installed. Chests built with either mod stay put if you switch to the other.
Rift Sorting Chest
A Grausten chest gone purple and gold, with a pair of rift eyes on its lid and gold light leaking from under it.
- Put anything in it and it is carried off to the chests nearby that already hold the same thing and have room for it, nearest first. Whatever finds no such chest waits in the sorting chest, and is tried again every few seconds.
- It reaches 50 m, only into chests you could open yourself: not into other sorting chests, carts, ships, tombstones, chests someone has open, or chests under a ward that is not yours.
- Built with the Hammer where the Grausten chest is, for the Grausten chest's own cost plus 2 Molten Cores.
Rift Aegis
A silver charm gone gold where the rift touched it. It has no recipe: it is for server admins to hand out
(devcommands, then spawn RM_RiftAegis).
- Worn as a trinket, it adds +50 armor.
- A blow that would kill you is turned aside instead, and you keep the health you had. Then it needs 5 minutes before it can do so again; the status icon counts down.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/tmana.riftrelics.cfg. Gameplay settings come from the server when it has the mod, otherwise from your own file.
| Section | Setting | Default | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rift Sorting Chest | Range | 50 | How far it reaches, in metres |
| Rift Sorting Chest | MoltenCoreCost | 2 | Molten Cores on top of the Grausten chest's cost |
| Rift Aegis | Armor | 50 | Armor while worn |
| Rift Aegis | CooldownMinutes | 5 | Wait between saves |
The chest's eye position, size and lid glow are cosmetic, per player.
Multiplayer
Only you need it. Rift Relics never stops you joining a server, and nobody else has to install it. Everything runs on your own game: the Aegis protects whoever wears it, and a sorting chest sorts into ordinary chests that everyone can use.
One catch: players without the mod can't see a Rift Sorting Chest or open it, and neither can you if you remove the mod (the chest and what's in it come back when you reinstall). If friends will use your chests, have them install it too.
If the server has Rift Relics installed, it syncs its settings to everyone, and everyone who also has it must be on the same version.
Requirements
BepInEx and Jötunn.
