Idol Obliterator
Server-side only. Players join with a completely unmodded game.
Feed the Obliterator a full stack of a tier material and pull the lever. When the lightning strikes, each full stack becomes a random Battle Idol or Protection Idol of that tier. Everything else inside is obliterated into coal as usual.
What turns into what
| Idol tier | Materials (raw or refined) |
|---|---|
| Wooden | Wood, Fine wood, Core wood, Yggdrasil wood, Ashwood, Timberwood |
| Bronze | Copper ore, Tin ore, Copper, Tin, Bronze |
| Iron | Scrap iron, Iron ore, Iron |
| Silver | Silver ore, Silver |
| Black metal | Black metal scrap, Black metal |
| Black marble | Black marble |
| Flametal | Flametal ore, Flametal |
| Bloodgold | Petrified tissue, Bloodgold |
- One full stack (the item's max stack size, e.g. 50 wood or 30 iron) = one idol.
- Each stack counts on its own, so a stack of iron ore plus a stack of iron gives two iron-tier idols.
- Partial stacks and anything else follow the normal Obliterator rules.
Install
Install only on the server (it also works in single-player and when hosting). Put IdolObliterator.dll in BepInEx/plugins.
Players don't need to install anything.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/kairi.IdolObliterator.cfg is created on first start. Restart the server after editing it.
Enabled— turn the conversion on or off.BattleIdolChance— chance (0–1) of a Battle Idol instead of a Protection Idol. Default 0.5.StackSizeRequired— how many items make one idol. 0 (default) = one full stack.VerboseLogging— log each conversion.[Materials]— comma-separated item prefab names for each tier. Unknown names are reported in the server log.
How it works
When the lightning strikes, the game of the player who "owns" the Obliterator converts the contents to coal, exactly like vanilla. The server predicts that result, and as soon as the new contents arrive and match, it replaces them with the idols. Every player's Obliterator reloads a moment later. Nobody can have it open during the strike, so nobody sees the coal.
If anything doesn't match what's expected, the mod does nothing and the vanilla result stays, so items are never lost.
