From the workbench
Latest is 0.8.2: the rest of the garden got the starlight treatment (crystal petals, a Galaxy Tree that glows from the inside, a real stone lantern post, carved rune stones), and Searchlight and Polychrome beams finally stop at your walls.
Work in progress
Experiments, no promises! These may change a lot, or never ship.
Kindly note that we are continuously reviewing texturing, shading, meshing that has shipped with existing pieces. There are plans to continue to refine existing pieces that may not have received as much TLC so far.
- Celestial creatures: more starlight animals in different nebula colors, with dreamy, echoing cosmic voices.
- Starting to create shader replacements for certain Cosmos objects, looking toward the creation of alternate biome generation.
Known issues
- None right now.
Tips & compatibility
- Infinity Hammer / PlanBuild: fine alongside Cosmos as of 0.8.1.
- Gizmo: pauses while you carry a piece with Cosmos Move.
- Rune Stepping Stones from before 0.8.2: the stones got bigger and farther apart, so re-place old paths to line them back up.
- Searchlight & Polychrome: beams stop at walls, floors and the ground. Walk-through decor (other Cosmos lights, curtains) doesn't block them.
- Flashing lights: turn on
