The Core DLL is a required library, not a third mod. This package does not include the author's other third-party mods.
Features
Computer-classes adds a reusable Class Stone, crafted from 1 Stone at a workbench. Choose Tank, Rogue, Ranger, Thrower, Support, Magician, Berserker or Warrior. Each class saves separate skill levels and partial XP for your character. The menu shows class bonuses, restrictions, saved skills and backups. Matching skills receive class XP bonuses; Tank reduces block stamina and Berserker widens eligible melee attacks. Combat/cooldown and inventory checks protect class changes.
Computer-TamedAnimals provides custom taming, riding and cart-hitching behavior for configured creatures.
Installation
Install through Gale with the Jotunn dependency. BepInExPack Valheim is also required. Install on the host/dedicated server and every player's client. Computer-classes requires the same plugin version on all participants.
If previously installed manually, move the old manual DLLs outside BepInEx/plugins into a backup before installing this package. Do not leave duplicate copies. Restart the game after installation or updates. Keep your character saves.
Configuration
- Classes: BepInEx/config/com.froze.computermod.foundation.cfg (original name retained for compatibility).
- Animals: BepInEx/config/com.computer.tamedanimals.cfg.
- Class backups: BepInEx/config/ComputerModBackups.
- Class progress is saved with the character and is not included in this package.
Testing and compatibility
Automated class save and installed-assembly checks passed; earlier startup registration was tested. Full gameplay and multiplayer compatibility testing is still pending. Use a test/backed-up character. Ranching and Explorer are not yet included in Support's bonus skill list. No other authors' DLLs, personal config files, source projects or game assemblies are bundled.
Versions
Bundle 0.0.2 contains unchanged Computer-classes 0.3.1 and Computer-TamedAnimals 0.1.0 binaries. The bundle has its own patch-only version history because it combines independently versioned mods.
