If you play with a non-English keyboard layout, you know the pain: you open the console, start typing — and the layout is still Russian. And after erasing the Cyrillic text, the console sometimes stops accepting input entirely until you reopen it.

ConsoleFix fixes all three parts of that:

• Type commands in Latin regardless of the active layout. Cyrillic letters are transliterated to Latin by physical key positions (standard ЙЦУКЕН → QWERTY): pressing the key labeled "Ф" types A. Works for regular typing and for pasted text (Ctrl+V), uppercase included.
• The console no longer "dies" after erasing text. The game's UI framework enables IME composition inside the console field; on some setups, after clearing composed text every following keystroke is silently swallowed. ConsoleFix disables IME composition in the console field (commands are Latin-only anyway) and restores it when the console closes.
• Input focus is restored automatically. Vanilla re-activates the input field only after a non-empty command; pressing Enter on an empty line could leave the console unable to accept input. ConsoleFix returns focus while the console is open.

Notes

• Works in both the main menu and in-game console.
• In-game chat is intentionally not affected — you can still chat in Russian.
• Console command: consolefix — shows the state of all three fixes; consolefix <translit|refocus|ime> <on|off> toggles them for the current session.
• Config file: BepInEx/config/deep_frost.consolefix.cfg (all three fixes on by default).
• Client-side only, safe in multiplayer, does not modify the world or your character.

Чинит ввод в консоли разработчика (F5). Если вы играете с русской раскладкой, то знаете эту боль: открываешь консоль, начинаешь печатать — а раскладка всё ещё русская. А после того как сотрёшь набранную кириллицу, консоль иногда вообще перестаёт принимать нажатия, пока не закроешь и не откроешь её заново.

ConsoleFix закрывает все три части проблемы:

• Команды печатаются латиницей при любой раскладке. Кириллица транслитерируется в латиницу по физическим клавишам (стандартная ЙЦУКЕН → QWERTY): клавиша с буквой «Ф» печатает A. Работает и при наборе, и при вставке текста (Ctrl+V), с учётом регистра.
• Консоль больше не «умирает» после стирания текста. UI-фреймворк игры включает IME-композицию (ввод IME) в поле консоли; на некоторых системах после стирания составленного текста все последующие нажатия молча проглатываются. ConsoleFix выключает IME-композицию в поле консоли (команды всё равно только латинские) и возвращает режим обратно при закрытии консоли.
• Фокус ввода восстанавливается автоматически. Ваниль возвращает фокус полю только после непустой команды; Enter на пустой строке мог оставить консоль без ввода. ConsoleFix возвращает фокус, пока консоль открыта.

Примечания

• Работает и в консоли главного меню, и в игре.
• Игровой чат намеренно не затронут — общаться по-русски можно как раньше.
• Консольная команда: consolefix — показывает состояние всех трёх функций; consolefix <translit|refocus|ime> <on|off> — включает/выключает их до конца сессии.
• Конфиг: BepInEx/config/deep_frost.consolefix.cfg (все три функции включены по умолчанию).
• Только на стороне клиента, безопасен в мультиплеере, не меняет мир и персонажа.
