CHANGELOG

Changelog

All notable changes to Blue Collar Trolls.

0.3.29

  • Claim Stake and Collector Stake have their own hammer icons, in the same carved-badge style as the other Blue Collar pieces.

0.3.28

  • The collector nose and the union rep's facing are kept after a restart. Set the turn once more if a previous session lost it.

0.3.27

  • The landing pad is the hold. The vanilla chest that was sitting under the platform is removed.

0.3.26

  • The collector's nose points the way it flies, and it sets down on the landing pad instead of hovering over it. The stake uses a real shader instead of the pink error one. Opening the pad opens its hold. The labor page has an Air Collector tab for nose, scale, and land height.

0.3.25

  • The landing pad's hanging lanterns (tripo_part_9, 23, 24, and 26) each cast a warm light.

0.3.24

  • The collector's hold is the landing pad. The vanilla chest mesh, which stacked two high and then one high, stays hidden. On the union board, Face turns the blimp's nose and Scale changes its size.

0.3.23

  • The crystal lamps on the collector (tripo_part_4) each cast a blue point light.

0.3.22

  • The collector uses collector_airship.glb. The propeller (tripo_part_5) and the cog (tripo_part_7) spin on their own centres, and the smelter's smoke comes out of the exhaust (tripo_part_2).

0.3.21

  • The collector blimp was one fragment of the model, stretched and drawn with the missing shader, so it showed up as a giant pink ring. The whole blimp is assembled now, about 3.2m long, with the creature shader and no normal map.

0.3.20

  • Collector Stake is in the DFG hammer. Placing it puts a large chest beside the stake and a blimp on the mooring. The blimp flies to ground drops, lands on them, picks up a hold full, and hauls them back to that chest. It eats from the union hall dues chest, same as the crew, and its name hangs over the balloon.

0.3.19

  • The union agreement is the Blue Collar tab on the DFG board. E on the union rep opens it. Shift+E still opens the dues chest. Earl's 18 jobs are the Earl tab, one posted at a time: turn the goods in, then take the reward. A signed name is who the next hire of that trade becomes.
  • DFGHub is required. The mod does not load without it.

0.3.18

  • Troll tools are another 10% smaller in the hand.

0.3.17

  • A troll's axe, pick, or club is sized to his hand. It was being stretched to a full-length weapon.

0.3.16

  • Each working troll has a name. It shows on the union menu, on the status card, and over his head. Changing his job gives him a name that fits the new work.

0.3.15

  • Earl talks while you are in range of him. The lines wait their turn, and the Earl closest to you is the one who speaks.

0.3.14

  • Talking to Earl plays earl.wav. Opening the dues chest does not.

0.3.13

  • Earl stands facing the yard. crazye.glb's idle looks the other way from the old rep, so that model is turned around.

0.3.12

  • The union rep uses crazye.glb. The hat is part of that mesh and follows his head. If the file is missing, the old union_rep.glb is used.

0.3.11

  • The labor dashboard no longer looks up a nearby Viking Vault from its own thread. That physics call was taking the game down inside Unity, with nothing left in the BepInEx log but the last dungeon spawn.

0.3.10

  • Work time is kept when the hall's saved data shows up a moment after the building does. The first empty read was being written back, so every relaunch started the timer at zero.
  • A tool handed to a troll is recorded on the hall itself. If the chest forgets which troll it belonged to, the hall puts it back.
  • The defense troll uses defense_troll.glb when that file is next to the plugin, and a club in his hands uses the real item mesh instead of the empty default grip.

0.3.9

  • An equipped axe is drawn in the tree troll's hand. It was being hung on the hidden vanilla skeleton, and the iron axe's item name never resolved to a mesh, so his hands stayed empty.

0.3.8

  • Hold an axe, look at the lumber troll, and press E to hand it to him. He grips it and chops with that axe. A tree no longer falls from a flat hit when his hands are empty.

0.3.7

  • The Union Hall has its own Hammer icon, a turf-roofed hall in the same round badge as the other trolward pieces.

0.3.6

  • A troll's work time is written into the hall's saved data once that data is ready, and again when the hall unloads. It was staying in memory, so every relaunch started the timer at zero.

0.3.5

  • E opens the union menu again after the dues chest. On a dedicated server the chest's open reply was sticking, so every later press opened the chest.
  • Each troll's equip buttons are at the top of the union menu. A gardener accepts a cultivator, the same as a farmer.
  • Farm plots, garden beds, and tree plots reapply a real building shader when they load, including pieces that stream in on a dedicated server.

0.3.4

  • Claim Stake uses ClaimStake.glb. E still renames it.

0.3.3

  • Farm plots, garden beds, and tree plots copy a real creature material before taking its shader. The previous repair used an empty Custom/Creature shader, which drew the plots white.

0.3.2

  • Claim Stake shows up in the Hammer once the vanilla sign prefab has loaded. The first pass was registering before that prefab existed, then never trying again.
  • Farm plots, garden beds, and tree plots wait for a real Valheim shader instead of keeping the pink error shader they were given at startup.

0.3.1

  • Claim Stake: a sign you plant in a stand of trees or on a vein. From the union rep, send a troll to that stake. The troll works inside the stake's radius, and the wood or ore still goes to the dues chest. E on the stake renames it. The radius is resized from the rep.

0.3.0

  • E talks to the union every time. Shift+E opens the dues chest. Looking at the hall no longer turns the second conversation into the chest.
  • A hall can hire up to four trolls. Each one has its own profession, tier, and equipment slot.
  • Food is one shared pantry. The troll with the least work time left eats next, and a tie goes to whoever was hired first.

0.1.2

  • Two buildable raised garden beds: Farm Plot (4x4) with 9 crop slots and Farm Plot (8x8) with 36, both with wood perimeter borders, snap points and dark loam soil.
  • Farmer's Union Agreement GUI on the Farmer's Union Rep: fuel and food stats, a quick button to the dues and seed chest, an interactive toggle for auto-depositing harvests into the nearest Viking Vault in range, and a scrollable manager for every farm plot in range with editable nicknames and crop selectors.
  • Shift+E opens the dues chest directly. E on any Farm Plot in the world opens its plot configuration.
  • Crops now grow in any biome (AllowAllBiomes, on by default), and indoor greenhouses and shelters count as roofed (AllowGreenhouses, on by default).
  • Fix: planted crops were being written into world saves by the clone, so a harvested crop reappeared on the next visit. Their ZDOs are now non-persistent, with a host-only sweep for strays left by earlier versions.
  • Package fix: this release previously shipped no 3D assets at all. The models, icons and union_rep.glb are now included.

0.1.1

  • Added Farming Trolward with custom plot cultivation, crop harvesting, and farming GUI.
  • Plant biome compatibility support so crops can thrive inside designated farm plots.
  • Trolward reputation and hunger systems: feed trolls to keep them working.
  • HUD indicators displaying active troll workers, job assignments, and larder stock.

0.1.0

  • Initial release.
  • Five distinct Trolwards built via Jotunn (Hammer > Misc): Lumber, Mining, Farming, Sorting, and Defense.
  • Blue-collar trolls fell trees, mine ores, harvest crops, haul loose items into chests, and defend your settlement.
