You're Cold makes exposure matter. The goal is not constant punishment; it is to make fire, shelter, dry clothing, daylight, and sensible travel feel valuable.

Controls
- F9 — Write diagnostics to
BepInEx/LogOutput.log. - F10 — Toggle the cold system for the current session.
- Ctrl + F3 — Hide or restore the mod HUD along with Valheim's HUD toggle.
Configuration
General > Enabledturns the cold system and its penalties on or off.HUD > ShowTemperatureBarhides only the Body Temp HUD.HUD > HideHudWithCtrlF3controls whether Ctrl + F3 hides this HUD.- Audio, temperature rates, biome effects, shelter effects, and penalties can all be adjusted.
Installation
- Install through Thunderstore/r2modman, or install BepInExPack for Valheim manually.
- Place
YoureCold.dllinBepInEx/plugins/YoureCold/. - Place
cold breath.mp3inBepInEx/plugins/YoureCold/assets/audio/when using the included low-temperature warning. - Launch Valheim once to create the config file.
Multiplayer
Use the same version for the people playing together so everyone is playing under the same survival rules.
