Folkhemmet
Official modpack for the Folkhemmet Valheim server.
The goal is an expanded-vanilla co-op experience: more character choices and group activities, much less storage/inventory friction, while keeping normal biome and boss progression recognizable.

Server balance
The Folkhemmet server supplies the authoritative gameplay configuration. Important server-side choices include:
- AzuExtendedPlayerInventory: no extra inventory rows; equipment slots + 3 quickslots
- Recycle N Reclaim: 50% reclaim; unknown recipes cannot be recycled
- EpicLoot: minimal balance; normal/unidentified item drops disabled; rewards focus on enchanting materials and shard stones
- SouthsilArmor: deliberately overpowered/endgame sets are disabled until the final boss is defeated
Bundled configuration
This modpack includes the Folkhemmet default configuration. r2modman installs the packaged config/ files into BepInEx/config/.
Key defaults:
- AzuExtendedPlayerInventory: 0 extra inventory rows, 3 quickslots, equipment row enabled
- AzuCraftyBoxes: Leave One Item enabled; private chests excluded
- AzuAutoStore: backpacks, hotbar, and quickslots protected; private chests excluded
- Recycle N Reclaim: 50% reclaim, crafting station required, unknown recipes blocked
- EpicLoot: minimal balance, no normal/unidentified equipment drops, enchanting-material/shard rewards
- SouthsilArmor: the four explicitly overpowered armor sets are disabled until the server owner re-enables them
The dedicated server remains authoritative for settings that support server synchronization.
Approved optional client mods
These are not required to join the server. Install any of them yourself if you want the extra functionality.
- Unshamed — Restores normal achievement eligibility while using BepInEx/mods without broadly disabling Valheim's cheat tracking.
- PlantEasily — Makes farming much less tedious with easier crop placement, spacing, and bulk planting/harvesting tools.
- AzuClock — Adds a small configurable in-game clock so you can keep track of the day/night cycle.
- AutoRepair — Automatically repairs eligible gear when you interact with the appropriate crafting station.
- Quick Stack Store Sort Trash Restock — Adds quick stacking, sorting, restocking, favorites, and trash controls. This is the approved quick-stack mod because it has specific compatibility with MultiUserChest.
- VikingShanties — Adds synchronized sea shanties, dancing, and other social interactions, especially fun while sailing.
- VNEI — Searchable item/recipe browser. Optional because it can reveal progression spoilers, even with filtering enabled.
- StatusQuo — Reorganizes buffs and debuffs into a more compact, configurable status-effect list so the top of the screen stays readable.
Installation
Install this package through r2modman / Thunderstore. The listed dependencies will install automatically.
When the server modpack version changes, update the Folkhemmet package before joining the server.
