SmugglersPouch
Carry limited portal-restricted items in a craftable satchel. Supports Springs and metals. Client-only personal use reported working; matching client/server installs recommended for shared use.
CHANGELOG
0.2.4 - Springs and other portal-restricted items
- Accept Springs and other items marked as non-teleportable, including modded items that use the native portal restriction flag.
- Preserve support for all previously accepted metals and existing pouch contents.
- Update pouch messages and descriptions to refer to items rather than only metals.
- Keep the default capacity of five items of one type, configurable from 1 to 30, and the one-pouch carrying limit.
- Existing item IDs, saved contents and config settings are unchanged.
0.2.3 - One-pouch warnings for transfers and pickups
- Show the native-style "Only one Smuggler's Pouch allowed" notification for rejected chest drag/drop, quick transfers and ground pickup attempts.
- Guard Take All's separate positional insertion path before it can move a second pouch; rejected items remain in the chest.
- Throttle transfer/pickup notifications to once every two seconds; passive CanAddItem queries remain silent.
- Includes the panel background correction and crafting warning.
0.2.2 - Clear one-pouch crafting message
- Attempting to craft a second carried pouch now says "Only one Smuggler's Pouch allowed" through the same native notification used by Inventory Full.
- Changes only the text of the existing crafting rejection; resource handling and the one-pouch limit are unchanged. Ordinary full-inventory failures retain their normal message.
- Includes the 0.2.1 panel background correction.
0.2.1 - Panel background correction
- Prefer the inventory panel's own background image rather than the first sliced image among its children, which could be a yellow selection highlight.
- Only explicitly named bkg/background images are eligible fallbacks; otherwise retain the dark brown panel.
- No storage, transfer, contents or item-stand behaviour changes.
- Close Valheim before replacing the plugin. Existing config and artwork are retained.
0.2.0 inventory fix test
- Fixed incomplete decoded metal records causing weight/UI exceptions after packing.
- Preserve native serialized item metadata, including cheated flags, and existing pouch payloads.
- Replaced unsafe low-level insertion guards with transfer/swap preflight checks.
- Added a movable native-style single-slot panel, drag-in/out, explicit empty button and cancellation without prematurely extracting contents.
- Respect split-stack amounts when packing. Invalid/occupied unpack destinations preserve contents.
- Added empty/loaded item-stand decoration, retaining native item-data serialization and existing dropped appearance.
- Previous builds and artwork retained. Local test release; live gameplay/multiplayer verification still required.
0.1.2 shoulder-bag artwork revision
- Removed the rigid briefcase handle from both states.
- Added a broad, draped leather shoulder strap with sewn attachments.
- Rebuilt both icons and models, preserving the bag body scale and automatic loaded/empty switching.
- No storage or gameplay changes. In-game testing remains required.
0.1.1 experimental satchel test
- Replaced the round coin-bag artwork with a small rectangular leather satchel.
- Added matching slim empty and fuller loaded models and inventory icons.
- Select appearance from each pouch's stored contents, preserving existing item IDs and payloads.
- Use lightweight local checks for dropped visuals; no added network messages.
- Preserved the previous test ZIP and all original editable art sources.
- Compiles and passes storage/static API checks; actual in-game appearance, save/load and multiplayer require testing.
0.1.0 experimental test
- Added workbench recipe, original pouch model and inventory icon.
- Added limited single-metal storage, contents weight and pouch-specific portal handling.
- Added native-canvas Pack/Unpack panel and carry-limit guards.
- Preserve invalid/over-capacity payloads instead of discarding contents.
- Local prototype only; gameplay, multiplayer and UI compatibility checks remain required.
