⭐ Features:
Adds six producer pieces that slowly turn a supplied item into a useful resource. Each one works like a chest: open it, put the input items in, and collect the output later.
- Production keeps going while you are away or the area is unloaded, and catches up when you return.
- Hover over a piece to see what it accepts, how full it is, its current status and a countdown to the next item.
- The pieces change appearance while in use: bees swarm the beehive, bait appears in the fish traps, and the beehive and birdhouse play ambient sounds.
- A rotating icon shows above a piece while it holds produced items, so you can see at a glance what is ready to collect.
- Every fish trap is shown on the map with its own pin.
- Also adds an HD Smelter, HD Charcoal Kiln, HD Windmill, HD Fermenter and HD Portal that work like the vanilla ones, and a Wisp Fountain that collects the wisps it lures.
- All pieces are built with the Hammer in the CoreWood-Additions category. Most need a Workbench nearby; the HD Windmill needs an Artisan Table, the HD Fermenter needs a Forge, the Wisp Fountain needs a Stonecutter, and the Ocean Fish Trap needs no station.
✅ Compost Bin
Turns meat into fishing bait. The type of bait depends on the meat you put in.

Serpent Bait |
Each cycle makes the same amount of bait as the vanilla bait recipe. The input for every bait type can be changed in the config.
Serpent Bait is added by this mod. Each cycle makes one, and it is only used by the Ocean Fish Trap. It can be turned off with Enable Serpent Bait in the config.
Cost: 4 Round Log, 1 Wood
✅ Beehive
Turns Dandelions into Honey. Accepts up to 10 configurable input items.
Cost: 4 Round Log, 4 Wood
✅ Fish Trap
Catches fish using fishing bait. It must be placed in shallow water (0.5 m to 1.5 m deep) and never rots from being wet.
The fish you can catch depend on the biome the trap is placed in, and each bait only catches the fish that bite on it. Hover over the trap to see which bait catches which fish in its biome.

Each catch uses one bait, and has a chance to come out at a higher quality.
Cost: 2 Round Log, 2 Wood
✅ Large Fish Trap
A bigger fish trap that works the same way as the Fish Trap and is placed in the same shallow water. By default it holds more fish (150 instead of 100). It has its own config section.
Cost: 4 Round Log, 2 Linen Thread
✅ Ocean Fish Trap
A floating fish trap for the open sea. Stand on your boat, aim at the water and build it. It needs deep water (at least 4 m) in the Ocean biome, and does not need a Workbench.
Once built it stays anchored in place and bobs up and down with the waves. It catches Ocean fish (Tuna, Coral Cod, Pufferfish) using bait, like the other traps, and has its own config section.
It also accepts Serpent Bait from the Compost Bin: each Serpent Bait catches one Serpent Meat.
Cost: 4 Asksvin Bladder, 4 Linen Thread
✅ Birdhouse
Turns seeds (Turnip, Carrot and Onion seeds by default) into Feathers. Accepts up to 10 configurable input items.
Cost: 2 Round Log, 4 Wood
✅ HD Smelter
A smelter that works like the vanilla one and uses all the vanilla smelter recipes. It burns coal, and its capacity and speed can be changed in the config.
Cost: 20 Stone, 1 Surtling Core
✅ HD Charcoal Kiln
A charcoal kiln that works like the vanilla one: it turns wood into coal and needs no fuel. Its capacity and speed can be changed in the config.
Cost: 20 Stone, 1 Surtling Core
Both can be turned off with Enable Smelter And Kiln in the config. When off they are hidden from the build menu, and placed ones stop working and cannot be filled (they can still be emptied). Their smoke can be turned off with Enable Smoke.
✅ HD Windmill
A windmill that works like the vanilla one: it grinds Barley into Barley Flour, needs no fuel, and runs faster the stronger the wind. Its capacity and speed can be changed in the config.
It can be turned off with Enable Windmill. When off it is hidden from the build menu, and placed ones stop grinding and cannot be filled (they can still be emptied).
Cost: 20 Stone, 30 Wood, 30 Iron Nails (needs an Artisan Table nearby)
✅ HD Fermenter
A fermenter that works like the vanilla one and uses all the vanilla fermenter recipes: add a mead base, and once it has fermented, tap it for the finished meads. Like the vanilla fermenter it needs a roof and must not be exposed.
- An icon shows above it while it is ready to tap.
- How long a brew takes can be changed with Fermentation Duration (2400 seconds, 40 minutes, by default).
- It can be turned off with Enable Fermenter. When off it is hidden from the build menu, and placed ones pause fermenting and cannot be filled. A finished brew can still be tapped, and fermenting carries on from where it stopped when it is turned back on.
Cost: 30 Fine Wood, 5 Bronze, 10 Resin (needs a Forge nearby)
✅ HD Portal
A portal that works like the vanilla one: give two portals the same tag and they link. It also links with vanilla portals.
- Its name is shown above it, so you can see where each portal goes. Names are hidden beyond a set distance or behind walls, and Page Up shows or hides them.
- Every HD Portal is shown on the map with a pin labelled with its tag.
- Teleporting through it is fast: a short fade, and you arrive as soon as the destination has loaded instead of waiting the vanilla 8 seconds. It can be turned off with Fast Teleport, and Fast Teleport Safety Delay can be raised if you arrive before a base has appeared.
- Hold Left Alt and press Use on a connected HD Portal to rename it and the portal it links to in one go, so the pair stays linked.
- It can be set to let players carry all items, including ore and metals, with Portal Allows All Items.
- It can be turned off with Enable Portals. When off it is hidden from the build menu, and placed ones go dark and stop teleporting, keeping their tag and link.
Cost: 10 Greydwarf Eye, 20 Fine Wood, 1 Surtling Core
✅ Wisp Fountain
A wisp fountain that lures wisps like the vanilla one: at night, with open sky above it, wisps are drawn in from the surrounding area.
- Instead of hovering around it waiting to be picked, the wisps it lures are collected into its storage. Hover over it to see how many it holds, and press Use to open it.
- An icon shows above it and it plays an ambient sound while it holds collected wisps, like the other producers.
- When its storage is full the wisps gather around it as in vanilla, and it stops luring more until it is emptied.
- Its storage is 5 by 2 by default. Change it with Container Columns (1 to 8) and Container Rows (1 to 4). Empty it before making it narrower, as items in removed columns can be lost.
- Collecting can be turned off with Wisp Fountain Collects Wisps. Wisps then have to be picked by hand, and anything already stored can still be taken out.
Cost: 10 Stone, 1 Freeze Gland (needs a Stonecutter nearby)

CHANGELOG
| Version | Changes |
|---|---|
| 1.0.4 |
Added the Wisp Fountain. It lures wisps at night like the vanilla one and collects them into its own storage, so you no longer have to pick them by hand. An icon shows above it and it plays a sound while it holds wisps, with config options to turn each off. Added config options to turn off the Wisp Fountain's wisp collecting and to set the size of its storage (columns and rows). Added a HD Windmill that grinds Barley into Barley Flour using the wind, like the vanilla windmill. It has its own config section (max barley, seconds per product) and can be turned off with Enable Windmill. Added a HD Fermenter that uses all the vanilla fermenter recipes. An icon shows above it while it is ready to tap. It has its own config section (fermentation duration, show output icon) and can be turned off with Enable Fermenter, which pauses fermenting rather than losing progress. Added map pins for HD Portals, labelled with each portal's tag, with a config option to turn them off. HD Portals now teleport fast: a short fade, and you arrive as soon as the destination has loaded instead of after the vanilla 8 seconds. It has config options to turn it off and to set the fade time and safety delay. Delete and rebuild your config file if you have any issues. |
| 1.0.3 |

Added config sections for the HD Smelter (max ore, max fuel, fuel per product, seconds per product) and HD Charcoal Kiln (max wood, seconds per product). Added a config option to enable or disable the HD Smelter and HD Charcoal Kiln. When off they are hidden from the build menu, and placed ones stop working and cannot be filled. Added an Enable Smoke option for the HD Smelter and HD Charcoal Kiln. Added the HD Portal. It links by tag like the vanilla portal, including with vanilla portals. HD Portals show their name above them, with options for distance and line of sight, and a hotkey (Page Up) to show or hide the names. Hold Left Alt and press Use on a connected HD Portal to rename it and the portal it links to in one go. Added config options to enable or disable the HD Portal, to let it carry all items (including ore), and to turn off its sound. Delete and rebuild your config file if you have any issues. |
