⭐ Features:
- A stone-age car you build with the hammer (Transport tab, near a forge by default). Default cost: 20 Wood, 20 Stone, 6 Leather Scraps, 4 Iron (configurable).
- A driver's seat and a passenger seat: press E on a seat to get in, E to get out (a passenger can also Jump out). You always step out beside the car, never through its roof (even if you quit the game sitting in it).
- Drive with W (Shift for full speed), S to brake and reverse, A/D to turn, Space for the handbrake. Pull the handbrake while turning at speed and the car slides round, leaving skid marks that fade after 30 seconds. The stone rollers roll and the whole car turns, and it can turn on the spot.
- The steering wheel turns as you steer, and the driver keeps their hands on it.
- Soft suspension that rolls over small rocks and bumps, with extra pull on hills so it climbs much as it drives on the flat.
- Smashes through trees, logs, stumps, rocks and bushes in its path, dropping their wood and stone as if chopped or mined.
- Optional: run over creatures smaller than the car. Players, tamed animals and bosses are never hurt.
- Floats and drives on water (a little slower, and it drifts in turns), with splashes, spray and a foam wake behind it. Can be turned off.
- Sounds: an engine that climbs through the gears, rumbling rollers, tyre squeal in hard corners, a thump on landing a jump, a horn (H) and a reversing beep. Each vehicle can have its own horn: the built-in one or one of six recorded horns.
- Headlights and tail lights that come on at night while someone drives, and brake lights that work day and night.
- A stone-and-brass speedometer while you drive, in mph or km/h. It hides while menus or the inventory are open.
- Runs on fuel: Resin for the bike, Surtling Cores for the one-seat car and Black Cores for the two-seat car (configurable, or none). Press Shift+E on a vehicle, or use the item on it from the hotbar, to fill it up. A fuel gauge shows beside the speedometer; out of fuel it only rolls and brakes. The cars also refuel themselves from fuel kept in their chest.
- A 6x4 car chest on the back. The lid opens while it is in use, and nobody can open it while someone else is driving.
- A stone-age bike too (Transport tab, near a stonecutter by default; 8 Wood, 10 Stone and 2 Iron, configurable). One seat and the same controls, horn, lights and speedometer as the car, but Space pulls a wheelie instead of the handbrake and it doesn't smash trees or stone, with all its driving and building settings of its own. Its handlebars turn as you steer, your hands stay on them, and it leans into the turns. It doesn't drive on water.
- A one-seat car too, YabbaDoo Car I (near a forge by default; 14 Wood, 14 Stone, 4 Leather Scraps and 3 Iron, configurable). The car's controls, handbrake, horn, lights, speedometer and chest, with all its driving and building settings of its own. It doesn't drive on water or smash trees and stone.
- Tipped over? Press E on it to set it back on its rollers.
- Move it without driving: look at it and press U, aim where it should go (scroll to turn it) and attack to put it down. It turns red where it can't go. Works alongside Easy Relocate, which leaves the car to this.
- Multiplayer ready: everyone sees the car, the lights, the steering and hears the horn. Driving settings and the cost are synced from the server.
- Settings and translation files reload while the game is running.
🎚️ Configuration:
Settings are in BepInEx/config/MagicMike.YabbaDabbaDoo.cfg (or press F7, in game or on the main menu, to open a panel with the settings of all your installed Magic Mike mods).
The Bike, Two Seat Car and Single Seat Car settings are synced from the server in multiplayer; the rest are each player's own. Changes made while the game is running take effect straight away.
