AimAssist
Controller aim assist for ranged weapons, console-shooter style, and crosshair colours. In multiplayer it says so in the chat, and other players can turn it off.
CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.6.9
- The crosshair stays on a moving target instead of trailing behind it. Tracking no longer loses ground each time a monster changes direction or you draw the bow again.
- With the stick at rest, the pull also brings back a crosshair that has slipped just beside the target, up to about one body width away. Never above it: an aim held above a distant target, for arrow drop, still stays where you put it. On a moving target, the pull is faster.
- Up close, the pull is no longer weakened when the camera is zoomed out.
- New setting
AimHeight: raises the point the pull aims at, if your arrows land low (with Better Archery, arrows leave from the bow hand, below the crosshair). - New advanced setting
MaxAssistSpeed(55°/s; it was a fixed 45): how fast the camera may turn by itself to follow a target. Raise it if monsters crossing right in front of you are lost.
