CHANGELOG

Changelog - The MySix bundle

This bundle installs every mod in the MySix suite, so here is what changed in all of them, newest release first. The mods share one version number, and a mod with nothing listed for a version was unchanged in it.

1.0.7

Armour Stand Swap

  • A swap no longer shuffles your bags. A piece that comes off the stand now lands in the very inventory slot the piece it replaced came out of, instead of the first free one.
  • One free slot is enough. A trade only needs a single slot to work in, however many pieces change places, because each piece that leaves for the stand frees the slot the next one arrives in. A piece the stand gives you that you have nothing to trade for still needs a slot of its own. If there is not room the press is refused before anything moves, and says how many slots it wants and why.

1.0.3

Armour Stand Swap

  • The stand leads. Pressing E used to take the cape and belt off even when the stand had neither, and getting a single piece back off a stand is fiddly. Now only the slots the stand already holds something in are exchanged, so a stand holding a chest piece takes your chest piece and leaves the rest of your gear alone. Whatever you are wielding still always goes onto the stand, and a weapon or shield the stand is displaying still comes to you.
  • Hold Alt while pressing E to swap everything, which is how you dress a bare stand from what you are wearing in one press - the old behaviour, now on a modifier. The key is configurable; Alt is the default because it is not a movement key, and the game binds alternate build placement to Shift.

Nearby Chests

  • The connection beam actually shows. It was a single three-second flash fired at the moment of the craft, while you are looking at the crafting panel rather than at the chest, and its near end sat at the chest's base - inside the ground. There is now a beam to every chest the station can draw from, up for as long as the crafting window is open, starting from the middle of the chest. Note the game itself closes the crafting window about two metres from a station, which takes the links with it.

1.0.2

Core

  • Settings can be reached from the console by a short name, such as Lights.Mode. The full name contains a space, which the console splits on, so some settings could not be changed in game at all.
  • The two server-side forerunners, LightFuel and Dyrnwyn Reset, are retired. The client-side mods were shown to cover their cases, including a fire the server itself placed.

Lights

  • A chest-fed mode, off by default, where a light burns real fuel drawn from containers in range and goes out when there is none left.

Forge of Potential

  • Reworked. The odds are the game's own - 65% for the usual quality level, and the idol is spent either way - but the other 35% no longer destroys the item. Gamble mode takes a level instead. The station's alarming failure effect is dropped by default, since nothing was destroyed; it is cosmetic either way and harms nothing.

Unique Items

  • New: first release. The one-of-a-kind pickups and creatures inside one-per-world locations come back after a while, so every player gets a shot at Dyrnwyn instead of only whoever arrived first. Ordinary stone and rock piles standing in the same ruins are left alone. Every player needs this one: an unmodded player deletes an already-picked fragment for the whole world.

Nearby Chests

  • New: first release. Crafting and upgrading at a station also use the materials in chests standing nearby, 10 metres by default. The building hammer is deliberately unaffected. Materials are put back if the craft does not go through, so a refused craft cannot leave a chest emptied for nothing.
