README

PlayerModList

Lets a dedicated-server admin see which mods each player is running.

  • Client: when you spawn into the world, the list of your installed BepInEx plugins (package name, plugin name, version) is sent to the server once per session.
  • Server: stores the list per character. The first time a character joins, the full list is written as an event; after that only added, removed and updated mods are written.

Events are appended as JSON lines to BepInEx/config/PlayerModList/olaylar.jsonl (snapshots in BepInEx/config/PlayerModList/anlik/). Use them for a Discord bot, a dashboard or plain log review.

Mods installed by a mod manager live in a folder named Author-Package, so each entry carries its Thunderstore package name (for example RandyKnapp-EpicLoot) and the manifest version. Manually installed plugins are reported by plugin name only.

Required on server and every client

The mod declares EveryoneMustHaveMod through Jötunn's network compatibility check: a client without PlayerModList (or with a different minor version) is rejected on join. That makes the list complete for every player on the server, but it is not anti-cheat: it reports what the client says is installed.

Privacy: joining a server that runs this mod shares your mod list with its admin.
