Quads Cigars
Grow tobacco, cure it, roll your own cigars and smoke them: smoking as a real part of the game, from the wild plant to the cigar in your mouth.
CHANGELOG
0.4.1
- Fix: the trader no longer buys tobacco seeds, leaves or cigars. They were worth coins, and a field of tobacco could be grown into as many coins as you liked.
0.4.0
- Now in your language: English, Russian, German, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Polish and Turkish, following the game's own Language setting. The game's own names are used for its things (items, creatures, lands, stations). The translations were made with AI: to correct a line, or add a language, put a file in BepInEx/config/translations/com.quad.cigarsmoking/ named after the game's name for the language (German.json...) with only the lines you change, copied from translations/English.json on GitHub.
0.3.2
- A clearer page: what it does, who needs it in multiplayer, how it gets on with other mods, and where to report a bug. The game itself is unchanged.
0.3.1
- A new id, com.quad.cigarsmoking (it was com.dhack.cigarsmoking): your settings move over by themselves the first time it starts, and the old settings file is kept as a backup. Restart the game after this update. If an old copy is still installed beside it, this one stands down and says which file to delete, so the two never both run. The DLL now says it was made with AI, as Thunderstore asks.
0.3.0
- The Drying Rack and Curing Barrel are safe with friends around: putting leaves in and taking them out now goes through the piece's owner, as the game's fermenter does, so two players taking a batch at once no longer both get it, and leaves put in at the same moment as someone else's come back to you instead of vanishing. They respect wards, can't be torn down while they hold leaves (the game says it can't be removed now), and drop what they held when broken. A tobacco plant you sowed and harvested is now removed like the game's own crops, instead of staying hidden in the world for ever (old ones are cleared as their area loads). On a server, the cigar length and strength and the growing, drying and curing times are the server's, and a batch's finish time is saved when it goes in. A model that fails to build no longer stops the pieces registering, and lighting cigars no longer makes a new material each time.
0.2.2
- Public smoking API v1 lets add-ons register status-effect names and share the one-active-smoke rule with cigars. Lighting a cigar stops registered pipe effects; add-ons can stop cigars before lighting. Registrations belong to the live plugin and are re-established after reloads.

Fixes: a Drying Rack or Curing Barrel you built had nothing to turn leaves into (its list was only on the build-menu copy), so it took no leaves: it now works from the strains themselves. Tobacco items dropped on the ground could not be picked up (now on the item layer). When your bag is full, the rest of what a rack, barrel or plant gives you lands at your feet as a stack (it used to drop one and lose the rest), with a message. Leaves taken from a rack or barrel count from any world level. And a model that ever comes out with invalid points (seen once at game start) is made again, with a note in the log naming it.

New: a whole tobacco system. Three strains grow wild in the Meadows, Black Forest and Plains and can be farmed with the cultivator. Dry leaves on a Drying Rack, age them in a Curing Barrel, and roll four kinds of cigar (Connecticut, Maduro, Corojo, Habano) at a Cigar Rolling Table, with a Humidor for the finer ones. Each cigar has its own look and status effect. Smoking now holds the cigar in your hand and brings it up for a puff.
