Quads Party HUD
A party HUD: health bars, stamina and distance for every player in your group, live and at any range, on the right of the screen.
CHANGELOG
1.10.1
- Much less network traffic: your game now sends your health, stamina, food and buffs to the other players only when something they would see has changed (at most once a second, and every 2 seconds anyway), instead of three times a second. On a busy server that is about a third of the traffic or less, and the party panel looks the same. Works with players on older versions.
1.10.0
- Now in your language: English, Russian, German, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Polish and Turkish, following the game's own Language setting. The game's own names are used for its things (items, creatures, lands, stations). The translations were made with AI: to correct a line, or add a language, put a file in BepInEx/config/translations/com.quad.partyhud/ named after the game's name for the language (German.json...) with only the lines you change, copied from translations/English.json on GitHub. Fixed: names and status lines no longer vanish in Chinese.
1.9.0
- The party panel is now part of the game's own HUD, made from its own pieces: the inventory's sunken boxes and bars, the game's lettering, and the minimap's arrow for which way each player is. It hides with the HUD (and in cutscenes), follows the interface scale you set in the game's settings, and is lighter to draw: rows are only built again when someone joins or leaves or you change a setting. Every setting still works.
1.8.2
- A clearer page: what it does, who needs it in multiplayer, how it gets on with other mods, and where to report a bug. The game itself is unchanged.
1.8.1
- A new id, com.quad.partyhud (it was com.dhack.partyhud): your settings move over by themselves the first time it starts, and the old settings file is kept as a backup. Restart the game after this update. If an old copy is still installed beside it, this one stands down and says which file to delete, so the two never both run. The DLL now says it was made with AI, as Thunderstore asks.
Earlier
-
New: Sharing/ShareMyStats (on by default): turn it off and your game stops sending your health, stamina, Eitr, food and buffs to the other players; they then see only what the game itself shows of you nearby. Sharing/AllowSharing is decided by the server in multiplayer, so a PvP server can switch the sharing off for everyone. The panel's names and numbers are now in the game's own lettering.
-
A fallen companion's row says its things are in a tombstone (they keep the gear they wore since AICompanion 0.8), not "gear in a crate".
-
New: a companion's row shows its three food slots under its picture, as players' rows do (empty slots: it is hungry and does not heal).
-
New: a companion's row shows a little picture of its face (AICompanion 0.3.0 takes it) instead of its initial.
-
New: with the AICompanion mod installed, each player's companion shows under them in the panel: its name, health, how far away it is and which way, and what it is doing (or that it has fallen), its stamina, and its buffs (a boss power, meads). General, ShowCompanions turns it off.
-
Three food slots under each player's picture show what they are eating, with a line for how long each has left (red when nearly gone). The arrow and buff icons are as in 1.5.0.
