Quads Ziplines

Ziplines: build two posts, run a rope between them and ride it, hanging from your axe.

CHANGELOG

0.3.2

  • Fix: after reloading the mod at the main menu (the mod manager's reload, or F6), its old build piece stayed in the hammer's list after it was gone, and every change to your bag threw an error half-way: crafting gave the item without taking the cost, and picking things up could go wrong, until the game was restarted. Its piece now comes off the list it was put on, and destroyed pieces left there by any mod are cleared when it registers.

0.3.1

  • Fixes. Moving, attacking, blocking or crouching while you ride no longer drops you off the rope (only Jump lets go, as before). Logging out or the game saving while you ride now brings you back on the ground under the line, not hanging in the air to fall. Reloading the mod mid-ride sets you down on the ground instead of dropping you. Taking down a line, or running one, to a far post that isn't loaded on your game now changes that post too in multiplayer (the host does it), so no rope is left running to nowhere; the host needs this version for that.

0.3.0

  • Now in your language: English, Russian, German, Chinese (Simplified), Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, Polish and Turkish, following the game's own Language setting. The game's own names are used for its things (items, creatures, lands, stations). The translations were made with AI: to correct a line, or add a language, put a file in BepInEx/config/translations/com.quad.ziplines/ named after the game's name for the language (German.json...) with only the lines you change, copied from translations/English.json on GitHub. A blocking piece's name keeps its capital letters (German nouns need them).

0.2.3

  • A clearer page: what it does, who needs it in multiplayer, how it gets on with other mods, and where to report a bug. The game itself is unchanged.

0.2.2

  • Its test command for Claude Tools (zip ...) follows the game's cheat rule: spawning, removing and riding test lines and tp work only in single player, for the host or with devcommands; status, posts and hover still work for everyone.

0.2.1

  • A new id, com.quad.ziplines (it was com.dhack.ziplines): your settings move over by themselves the first time it starts, and the old settings file is kept as a backup. Restart the game after this update. If an old copy is still installed beside it, this one stands down and says which file to delete, so the two never both run. The DLL now says it was made with AI, as Thunderstore asks. The log says so when Einherjer's Ziplines, a different mod with the same name, is installed too.

0.2.0

  • Running or taking down a line now needs the ward's leave at both posts, as building does (riding is still for anyone). In multiplayer the server decides the line and riding rules (MaxLength, MinSlope, the speeds, LongLinesFaster and NeedAnAxe). Letting go uses the game's Jump (your own key, or a gamepad), the wind follows the game's sound volume, and a problem with the post's look can no longer stop it being registered. Updating the mod now asks for a restart (it adds a build piece).

Earlier

  • Fix: no more stutter every 5 seconds. Looking for Claude Tools searched everything the game had loaded; it now asks BepInEx's list of mods.

  • New: Zipline Posts. Build two, link them with E, and ride the downhill rope between them hanging from your axe.
