ReefClient
The Reef's own client-side companion. You get it through the TheReef modpack; you do not need to install it by hand.
What it does
- Shows a small counter under the minimap: Odin's favors. It stays hidden until the realm gives you your first one.
- Lets the realm's director change the sky and the wind on your screen (rain for a scene, a fair wind for a voyage). It resets on its own.
- Sends a copy of what you type in chat to the server, so the director can hear you even when you play alone. It never reads your chat.
What it does not do
- Nothing on a server that does not run the Reef's server tools: no counter, no weather, no effect at all.
- No commands, no config to touch.
reef.client.cfgonly holds the counter's position and size. - No gameplay change: your health, inventory, skills and items are untouched.
