README

RestlessCook

Cook the haul, make meals, turn meals into feasts.

Expand your kitchen from Meadows through Ashlands with prepared meals, feast boards and a Cookbook that helps you plan the next dish.

A kitchen with a plan

Use the food preparation table to browse dishes and filter for feasts, meals, ingredients or meads. Inspect what a recipe needs, then order it from one place.

Orders draw from eligible nearby supplies, load cooking racks and ovens, collect prepared food and use it in the next recipe step. Station levels, fire, fuel and capacity still matter. Cauldron and preparation crafts take their crafting time; Orders shows each step's progress.

From ingredients to a shared table

Cook raw protein first, turn it into meals, then use meals in feasts. Selected vanilla recipes now ask for cooked cuts; existing vanilla foods and feasts stay part of the chain.

Custom feasts focus on health or stamina, with eitr on Mistlands and Ashlands boards. Meadows and Black Forest feasts skip Bog Witch spices; later feasts retain their spice requirements. Sideboards are assembly ingredients, not edible meals.

Browse the recipe guide for ingredients, station levels, food values and what each dish leads to. Deep North dishes are not included.

Prepare your first feast

  1. Discover ingredients and build the cauldron/cooking stations your dish needs.
  2. Craft the food preparation table at a workbench: 10 wood, 8 resin and 6 leather scraps.
  3. Open the Cookbook, select a known dish and place an order.
  4. Use a serving tray to place the finished feast board and eat from it.

The tray is a Meadows workbench craft costing 6 wood, 4 leather scraps and 2 resin. Early furniture access does not bypass recipe discovery or upgraded stations.

The completed feast goes to its ordering player. Cancelled timed preparation returns its ingredients; already-prepared food can remain in the table's pantry. See the guide for cancellation and collection rules.

Open F8 → RestlessCook for the local Cookbook toggle. Kilns and smelters belong to Workshop; the stone oven stays with this kitchen.
