RestlessPiles

Wood stacks and stone piles become uncapped stores. E opens a tray; Take stack grabs one bag stack. Needs RestlessCore.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

0.1.6

  • Pile range stays off the F8 page until Isolate pile range is on. Needs Core 0.1.15.

0.1.5

  • Enabled, isolate pile range, and pile range sit on the F8 Piles page (PR 19)
  • Piles use Core Search range unless Isolate pile range is on (no more max-of-both)

0.1.4

  • Fixed stations (kiln, smelter, cooking station, fermenter) not pulling wood/ore/fuel from a nearby pile with E — only chests worked. FindCookableItem discovers what to feed a station through NearbyStorage.TryCloneIfPresent, which only clones an ItemData out of a chest's Inventory slot; a pile has no Inventory, just a bare stored count, so it was invisible to that lookup even though Count/TryConsume already knew about piles for crafting. Added the matching pile lookup so stations can find pile-only stock too

0.1.3

  • Quick-stack (`) and auto-vacuum respect the Search range setting, not just the fixed Piles range — they now reach as far as Storage Range when it's set higher (matching how craft/build pile lookups already worked)

0.1.2

  • Vacuum and ` now take piles before chests, and only live placed piles (Core was winning the race, and prefab dummies could swallow a dump)
  • ` credits one write per pile (stacked dumps no longer race Count)
  • Tray Stack / UseItem no longer treat a not-yet-owned pile as a failed click
  • Take stack merges onto any matching bag stack (cheated-flag match was blocking the pull)
  • Craft/build pull nearby pile stock after chests (consume drops pile count only — no bag round-trip); sneak+use takes a stack without the tray

0.1.1

  • Hammer-remove or smash returns stored extras and the pile's build cost (the wood/stone spent to place it)

0.1.0

  • Vanilla resource piles (wood stack, stone pile, and the rest) open as uncapped single-item stores
  • Existing placed piles keep working — the vanilla prefab is dressed, not replaced
  • Take stack grabs one bag-shaped stack (one partial, or one new max stack)
  • Tray Stack and Core ` dump matching bag stacks into the pile
  • Hammer-remove / smash spills stored extras; vacuum and craft-from-chests ignore piles
  • Pile tray unlocks the cursor so Take stack / Stack can be clicked
  • Vacuum pulls matching ground drops into a pile even when stored is 0 (the piece kind is enough)
  • Pile count is stored as a long and shown on the tray text, not as an item stack (that was capping at 1000)
