Smart Deposit
Quickly store your loot — even on servers without the mod installed!
Smart Deposit is client-side only. Install it on your own game; the server and other players do not need it.
How to use
Close your inventory and press F10, or type /smartdeposit in chat. Matching items go into nearby player-built chests within 10 metres.
- Only deposits into chests that already contain the item.
- Tops up stacks and uses available slots. Full chests are skipped; leftovers stay with you.
- Protects your hotbar, equipped gear, and saved keep list.
- Respects chest access and wards, and skips chests in use.
Keep specific items with /smartdeposit keep Wood. Allow them again with /smartdeposit unkeep Wood.
Installation
Install with a mod manager, or place SmartDeposit.dll in BepInEx/plugins. Requires BepInEx for Valheim.
Change the hotkey, range, and keep list in BepInEx/config/local.valheim.smartdeposit.cfg.
Version 0.1.2 — test build. Designed for unmodded servers; live multiplayer testing is still pending. Server restrictions and other mods may affect compatibility.
Use /smartdeposit, /smartdeposit keep Wood, or /smartdeposit unkeep Wood.
