Equip a one-handed weapon and your last shield comes with it — no more re-clicking your shield every time you switch weapons.

What it does

Equip a shield once, like normal.
Switch to any one-handed weapon (with an empty off-hand) and the shield you had equipped is automatically re-equipped alongside it.
Two-handed weapons, bows, and torches are left untouched — the game already handles those slots on its own.
Only affects your own character; safe for multiplayer.

Found in BepInEx/config/snep.valheim.autoshield.cfg after first launch:

Enabled = true

Set to false to disable the mod without uninstalling it.

Client-side only — no server-side requirement, and no known conflicts with other equipment mods.
