Smelter Queue
See what's in your smelter, and control what goes in.
Features
Ore queue display — Look at a smelter's ore intake and a panel appears showing the queued ores as icons, in processing order. Watch them shift left as they finish.
Ore filter — Point at a smelter and press G to cycle its intake mode: All ores, Copper only, Tin only, Iron scrap only, and so on. A filtered smelter politely refuses the wrong ore. Filters are saved per-smelter and survive relogging.
Usage
- Hover the ore intake (where you'd press E to add ore) to see the queue panel and current mode.
- Press G while pointing at any part of the smelter to change its mode.
Multiplayer
Filter settings sync through world data, but all players need this mod installed to see panels and have filters enforced. Players without the mod see a normal smelter and can bypass filters.
Mod compatibility
Filters are enforced against automation mods too: if another mod (e.g. a chest-to-smelter feeder) pushes a non-matching ore into a filtered smelter, the ore is rejected and dropped on the ground beside the smelter rather than destroyed.
Notes
- Works on the standard Smelter. Blast Furnace untested.
- Key is not yet rebindable (G is hardcoded).
Changelog
1.0.2
- Ore filters now also apply to ores inserted by other mods (e.g. chest-feeding/automation mods). Rejected ores are dropped on the ground next to the smelter instead of being destroyed.
1.0.0
- Initial release: queue panel with icons, per-smelter ore filter.
