Tame the wild bears of the Deep North (and beyond) like wolves — then breed them for tiny cubs that grow up right before your eyes.
Features
- Tame bears like wolves. Feed a wild bear raw meat (
meat), keep your distance while it tames, then claim it: pet it, give it a name, and command Follow / Stay. It will defend you like any tamed wolf. - Bears can breed. Keep a fed, tamed pair together and they'll form a loving bond — watch for the heart effects — and after a pregnancy of about a day the mother gives birth in front of you.
- Cubs are born small. Newborn bear cubs spawn at 30% size and grow to full size over one in-game day. All completely configurable.
- Stats like a wolf's. Bears use the wolf's diet, feeding behaviour and breeding parameters, so everything works exactly like you'd expect from taming a wolf — just bigger, and with cubs.
Install
Requires BepInEx and Jotunn for Valheim.
- Extract the zip into
BepInEx\plugins\inside your Valheim install (theplugins\HeyBooBoo\folder merges straight in). - Start Valheim through your mod manager of choice.
- Find a wild bear, drop raw meat near it, and stay back while it tames.
Note: creatures already loaded into the world are unaffected. Newly spawned bears (after the mod is active) are tameable.

Multiplayer & dedicated servers
Every client needs the mod. On a dedicated server, drop the same dll into the
server's BepInEx\plugins\ — breeding is server-authoritative, so the server
must run it too.
