0.9.0
- Works with ModernArpgControllerGameplay. The two now share the controller: its Tool Diamond settings tab has a Lock-on row, its Controls page shows where lock-on and crouch are, and it sheathes your weapons on guard + Y.
- Lock-on and crouch share two buttons. By default lock-on is on the right stick click and crouch moves to a tap of LT (Alt1) or LB (Alt2). On Classic, lock-on is a tap of the right stick and crouch stays on the left stick.
LockOnRightStickswaps them and replacesGamepadLockButton. - The game's holster tap on the gamepad belongs to the mod now, since lock-on or crouch sits on it. Holding the button still opens the radial menu.
- The camera fits your weapon while locked. Melee weapons, staffs and spears pull it back a little and keep you to one side. Bows, crossbows and bombs bring it closer and over your shoulder.
- Free aim camera. The bow camera turns on while you draw, the crossbow and bomb camera while you hold them, and the flight path takes the place of the crosshair.
- Bombs: the camera zooms in a little, and the landing ring is as wide as the blast, drawn on the ground around a creature you'd hit.
- The flight path starts from your hand, where the shot will leave, even while you walk or turn.
- You face your target. While locked, attacking and blocking turn you toward the target, not where the camera looks.
- Keyboard lock-on moved to 0. 0.8.0 put it on the middle mouse button, which is the game's heavy attack. My own preset is different, so I missed it. If you never changed it, it moves to 0 on its own.
0.8.0
- First release.
