SensibleRecipePack
Reduces most craft costs significantly, usually based on input-weight to final-product weight. Build costs are also largely reduced and tweaked for consistency.

Sensible Recipe Pack
Sensible Recipe Pack
REQUIREMENTS: Recipe Manager by MidnightsFX
WHAT IT DO!?
I used MidnightsFX's Recipe Manager mod to edit a bunch of craft and build costs.
- Recipes
Crafting recipe costs are now more realistic, with input weight being more similar to output weight. Almost everything costs significantly less now.
- Pieces
Build piece costs are generally reduced, and otherwise tweaked for consistency.
Installation: Step 1) Use Thunderstore Mod Manager, it's great.
THIS PACKAGE IS NOT BALANCED. Just putting that out there.
This will be considered cheating by the majority of the player base, but I made this to scratch my realism itch. If you want to play the game as it was intended: do not use this mod. The vanilla game has (arguably) good reason for requiring you to use excessive amounts of material.
MANUALLY CONFIGURABLE
RecipeManager lets you "print" all of your recipes and pieces in the form of YAML text files, which you can then edit. This pack is just a folder with yaml files containing most player-accessible craft and build recipes, which I exported and then edited by hand. If you want to change any of the recipes, just follow the instructions given for MidnightsFX's mod and edit the YAML files to your heart's content. It's pretty intuitive once you get started.
Thanks for downloading, I hope you enjoy. Please let me know if I've missed anything.
CHANGELOG
1.0.1
- Tweaked modifications for a couple of roof pieces I missed.
1.0.0
- Full release. I am confident that I have done what I set out to do. I have touched every recipe and piece I wanted to change, and I have left the rest of it untouched. If I missed anything I'll probably drop a patch for it eventually.

- Slight increase to bear armor set to make material weight match.
- Tweaked Ooze Bomb recipe.
- Added missing modifications for Pointy Hat.
- Removed Snowball modifications (reset to vanilla).

- Excluded all items with color-variations. Sorry folks, you'll just have to pay full material cost if you want most shields and tower shields, or a linen cape. RecipeManager just doesn't handle it properly.
- Updated readme and description.
