Remove Boss Drops Reidr
A minimal Valheim mod that makes bosses drop no normal CharacterDrop loot. Non-boss creature drops remain vanilla.
Install
Install BepInExPack Valheim and this package on the dedicated server and every connecting client. Valheim can let a player's client own a boss and run its death and drop code, so every player needs the patch. Jötunn is not required. Restart the server and clients after installation.
The plugin returns an empty drop list when the game instance that owns a boss processes loot generation. It does not remove altar rewards, progression unlocks, powers, or rewards produced outside the normal character drop table.
Build
Run dotnet build -c Release in this folder. Override VALHEIM_INSTALL and BEPINEX_INSTALL MSBuild properties if the game or BepInEx assemblies are elsewhere.
Isolated test server
Run scripts\launch-test-server.ps1 to build the plugin, copy it into the Gale rpgworld client profile, provision an isolated dedicated-server copy with BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2351, stage this plugin plus plugins/configs from rpgworld (currently ServerDevcommands), and launch with a private test save folder. Use -NoLaunch to build and stage both sides without launching the server. Restart the game client after staging.
