- Biome Ladder: Fight a biome's creatures from weakest to strongest, or take on the full Gauntlet.
- Star Ladder: Fight through the same roster at base, one-star, and two-star difficulty.
- Specific Monster: Choose a creature, star level, and quantity from 1–10.
- Temporary food: Choose three foods you've discovered. Health, stamina, and Eitr refill, Rested is preserved, and your original state returns afterward.
- Safe combat: No skill loss, tombstones, ammo use, or equipment wear. Protected structures take no combat damage.
- Hall of Champions: Place leaderboard boards showing the top five completion times for each biome and the Gauntlet.
Arena fights give no loot or skill experience.
Playing
Talk to the Arena Master, choose a challenge, and join the queue. Accept your turn within 30 seconds.
Staying outside the combat boundary for five seconds sends you back to the start without ending the challenge.
For practice without leaderboard entries, run skaldpractice on before choosing a challenge. Matching saved checkpoints resume automatically. Use skaldpractice off to return to competition.
Admin Setup
Admins receive an Arena Admin Hammer. Its Misc tab contains the arena pieces.
Place an Arena Core and set its name and boundaries. Add an Arena Master, one Combat Start, and exactly four Enemy Spawn beacons, then enable the arena at the Core.
Add Hall of Champions boards anywhere you want rankings displayed. Press F7 with the Arena Admin Hammer equipped to show or hide setup markers.
