Craft Manager

Craft Manager is a quality-of-life mod for Valheim that lets you use nearby storage while crafting, building, and organizing items.

Features

• Nearby material totals: Recipe ingredients show needed/stored using nearby accessible chests and carts.
• Clear availability colours: White means you carry enough, yellow means nearby storage covers the missing amount, and red means the materials are unavailable overall.
• Get Materials: Collects only the selected recipe's needed ingredients. It does not craft or consume them.
• Craft multiple: Collects missing ingredients from nearby storage, then crafts the exact selected quantity.
• Hammer support: Building with a hammer silently collects missing build materials from nearby accessible storage.
• Upgrade support: The game's normal Upgrade button collects missing materials for the next upgrade from nearby storage.
• Storage-box crafting menu: A compact button below Repair opens Craft Manager's crafting controls.
• Sort containers: Sort the currently open chest or cart alphabetically.
• Trash: Drop an item onto the inventory trash bin to permanently delete it.
• Empty inventory: Sends non-hotbar, non-equipped items into nearby storage that already contains that item. It can create new stacks in that storage; unmatched items stay in your inventory.

Storage rules

• Default search distance: 100 metres.
• Chests and carts are included.
• Locked/inaccessible and currently-used containers are skipped.
• The search only uses loaded containers.

Installation

1. Install this mod with r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager.
2. Start Valheim through the mod manager.
3. The BepInEx dependency is installed automatically by the mod manager.

The search range can be changed in BepInEx's generated Craft Manager configuration file after the game has started once.

Notes

The trash action permanently destroys the dropped item. Back up important saves and test the mod with your own multiplayer/server setup before relying on it there.
