VoidFax

The internet can fax your base. Share your printer link and real people send images and messages that physically print out of the fax machine in your game - with the full printing animation, as real photo props that persist in your save.

How it works

1. Install the mod and launch VotV (a09k).
2. The mod gives your game a unique printer code (like VF-K3XQ9F) and a share link. See "Where to find your links" below - the fax machine literally prints them for you on first launch.
3. Share the link (voidfax.com/id/YOUR-CODE) with friends, chat, stream viewers - anyone.
4. They open it, type a message or attach an image, hit TRANSMIT.
5. Your fax machine wakes up and prints it. That's it.

Faxes arrive while you play (the mod checks every 10 seconds by default - voidfax interval <seconds> changes it). If the fax is busy or you're in the menu, they queue up and print when possible.

Where to find your links (step by step)

You have three links: a printer code, a share link (give this out), and a private admin link (never give this out - it has delete/ban powers).

1. The welcome fax. The first time you play with the mod installed, your in-game fax machine prints a page by itself. Your printer code and share link are written on it. Pick it up and pin it to the wall if you like - it's a real item.
2. The links file. Open the folder where the game is installed and go to VotV/Binaries/Win64. There is a plain text file there called VoidFax_links.txt - it contains all three links, ready to copy-paste. (Using a mod manager? Use its "Browse game folder" button to get there.) This is the ONLY place your private admin link is written down.
3. The console (optional shortcut): press ~ in game and type voidfax code or voidfax admin. Note: the replies appear in the UE4SS log window, so if you don't run with that window open, use the file instead. The log also exists as a file: VotV/Binaries/Win64/UE4SS.log (same folder as the links file) - search it for [VoidFax].

Share the share link. Keep the admin link secret - and if you stream, don't show VoidFax_links.txt on screen. You can add a second lock with voidfax password <word> so the admin link alone isn't enough.

Console commands

The feed site

• Everyone sees the queue/feed for your printer and whether it's online.
• Posting has a cooldown per person; names lock after the first fax.
• A profanity filter blocks the truly vile stuff (18+ language is allowed - this is Voices of the Void, not kindergarten).
• The site remembers your printer, and every fax shows who sent it.
• You moderate your own feed: voidfax admin gives you a private link with DELETE and BAN buttons for your printer only. Don't share that one.
• Approval mode: on your private admin page, flip APPROVAL MODE on and nothing prints until you click APPROVE on it - submissions wait in a pending queue only you can see. Perfect for streaming: no surprises on screen. Toggle it off any time for instant printing.

Notes

• Built for VotV a09k with UE4SS/shimloader (installed automatically by your mod manager).
• Your game only talks to voidfax.com - no accounts, no personal data; the mod generates a random printer identity on first run.
• Printed faxes are normal physical photos: pin them up, burn them, trash them.
