Herobrine Not Removed
What if Herobrine was real? And what if he opened the wrong door?
Minecraft's heroes are pulled into White Knuckle, and they climb by Minecraft's rules: crafting, tools that bite into the walls, armor, emeralds instead of roaches. Somewhere above, Herobrine is waiting.
How to play
On White Knuckle's main menu, click the spinning grass block in the top right corner. It opens the Herobrine Not Removed menu, with its own worlds, characters, achievements and legend. Pick a character, start a New World, and climb.
Features
- 8 characters, each with their own starting items, hands, effects and difficulty. Some start locked, and some are hidden.
- Minecraft crafting: the inventory, the 2x2 grid and the crafting table's 3x3, with 69 recipes. Supplies you find in the climb become materials.
- 80+ Minecraft items: pickaxes, swords, axes, shovels, hoes, spears, armor and shields, in wood, stone, copper, iron, gold, diamond and netherite. Pickaxes and hoes bite into walls and hold you; spears can be thrown and stick.
- The Survival Guide: a book with every recipe and how each tool works.
- Smithing: the Netherite Upgrade turns diamond gear into netherite.
- Emeralds: the currency of this world. Vending machines sell Minecraft materials for them, perk machines offer materials instead of perks, and the recycler pays in emeralds.
- Health and hunger as in Minecraft, with status effects.
- 14 achievements, some of them secret.
- Herobrine, and a fight with him in the Void.
- And more, waiting to be found.
Installation
Install with a mod manager (r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager). The only dependency is BepInExPack.
Manual install: put this package's HerobrineNotRemoved.dll and its assets folder together in BepInEx/plugins/HerobrineNotRemoved/.
Notes
- Your progress (characters, achievements, emerald bank) is saved apart from the mod, in
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Dark Machine\White Knuckle\HerobrineNotRemoved\hnr.json, so updating or reinstalling the mod keeps it. - White Knuckle's own Steam achievements are held back while the mod is on.
- This is a fan-made mod. It is not affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft or Dark Machine Games.
