Larger Lobby Mod
Host bigger online worlds in Wobbly Life, and manage everyone in them from one in-game panel.
Only the host needs this mod. Players joining your world use the normal, unmodded game.
Which version of the game? This mod is for the Xbox app / PC Game Pass version of Wobbly Life, which needs BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP). It does not work on the Steam version, which uses BepInEx 5.
Features
- Bigger lobbies. Raises the online player limit from 4 to 100 (configurable). Players on Xbox consoles, PC and Steam have all joined the same modded world. The split-screen limit per device isn't changed.
- Player manager (press F8 while hosting). A small "Press F8 for Player Manager" button sits in the top-left corner as a reminder.
- Lists every player in your world, including split-screen guests, with a search bar.
- Kick a player's device.
- Ban: kicks them and saves their ID, so they're kicked again whenever they try to rejoin. Bans are kept between sessions, and you can Unban from the list.
- Profile opens the player's Xbox or Steam profile page in your web browser.
- Announcements. Type a message, confirm, and every player sees it in the game's notification banner for about 15 seconds.
- Teleport tab. Go to a player, Bring here a player, or Bring everyone to me (asks for confirmation first).
- Jail tab. Pick a jail spot (your live coordinates are shown, with Up/Down buttons to adjust the height) and jail players. Jailed players are pulled back whenever they leave the jail, even if they leave the game and rejoin, until you Release them.
Installation
This mod requires BepInExPack IL2CPP (BepInEx 6). Mod managers install it automatically with this mod.
- If a mod manager installed BepInExPack (BepInEx 5) for you, that's the Steam loader and it can't load this mod. You need BepInExPack IL2CPP instead.
To install by hand:
- Install BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP) into your Wobbly Life game folder and start the game once so BepInEx can set itself up.
- Put
LargerLobbyMod.dllinBepInEx\plugins\LargerLobbyMod\. - Start the game and host a world. Press F8 to open the player manager.

Good to know
- Announcements repeat. Each player's game shows the banner for only about 3 seconds, so the mod re-sends it a few times. The banner slides out and back in between repeats.
- Teleporting may respawn someone. If a player's game refuses the move, the mod respawns their character at the target instead. A respawn can make them drop what they're holding. You can turn this off with
RespawnFallback. - A jail in midair makes players bounce. You can't freeze another player, so a jailed player in midair falls and gets pulled back up every second or two. A rooftop or a closed room works better.
- Joining. A player's first join attempt sometimes fails, and a second try usually works. If joins start hanging after many people have come and gone, start a new hosted world.
- Gameplay with more than 4 players hasn't been tested much. Some jobs or missions designed for 4 may behave oddly.
